Directv complaint
I had an appointment for Saturday morning between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. The installer said he was running behind, but could be there in the afternoon. In the afternoon, he said he didn't have a long enough ladder but would be back. He never came back.

I made another appointment for a couple weeks later and took the day off work. The installer called at 2:30 and said he didn't have an "extra dvr" so I would have to make another appointment. I called and complained and was told that another set up was all they could do. I asked for a supervisor who told me that her notes said they didn't have a long enough ladder. I explained that they knew what was required two weeks ago when they failed and that their story today is that they don't have an "extra" dvr, like they lost one some time today.

After checking with the installer, she called me back and said the installer would keep the appointment. (I'm still waiting to see, but I'm doubtful. He has 1/2 hour left to be "on time.")

Why do they treat customers like that? Why do they show up without a ladder? Why do they pretend they learned at 2:30 in the afternoon that the just ran out of equipment? And then they can't understand why you are angry at being lied to.
