Beware, Directv extends your contract by as much as 2 years when upgrading your receiver. They did not tell me this when I had problems ordering over the web and had to call in my order. They however claim to have it on file that I was told this, but when I asked for a copy of the
proof I was told that they could not supply me with it. They however did offer to send me a copy of the customer agreement, but as to the
proof of telling me at time of order that my contract would be extended, no such luck. Be aware!

Please read the fine lines and do not get ripped off like me. Buy minimum and then add otherwise you are stuck
with a hefty bill and they will chatge you $480 if you want to cancel your subscription. Very un-American.
