Directv in Washington, District Of Columbia - Direct TV doesn't drop price??????

So Direct TV bases their packages and rates on how many channels you purchase. If they cut channels out......whether it's their fault or not, they should also drop their price.....right? Not my bill, mine actually increased this month!!!!!! they breached all their customers contracts who lost channels and should allow those customers to leave and go to Dish Network!!!!!!! The CEO keeps saying that the whole thing is just temporary, but no one sees their bill temporarily dropping down a little bit for each of the channels lost. If enough people quit this terrible service then it could eventually drop prices a bit to compensate for the lost channels!

Directv in Mount Laurel, New Jersey - A ripped off customer!

Thanks for ripping off your 30 million customers strong. I guess your CEO's needed a raise so you decided to screw your customers and take channels rather than pay for it out of the millions of dollars you make off of your subscribers and then blame it on Viacom. BS if you wanted to keep the channels you woud have...just a ploy to rob all those who have kept you in business all these years. If everyone switched to dish it would suck to be you wouldn't it? Here's a thought why not give for once rather than take?

Directv in Chicago, Illinois - Take away channels

I pay direct tv for a service monthly. It is not my problem that their rates wre increased. This is their issue and should not affect the consumer. If i lose 25 channels my current bill should be discounted for the time i am without these channels. I have been a customer for less than two years and plan on canceling once my contract is up. Ifthis doesnt get resolved soon Direct tv should release all customers from theircontract if hey choose to be. This is ridiculius and is the responsibility of direct t to correct and spare the cost not the consumer.

Luckily for me i have cable television so I don't have to worry about that. My advise switch companies and get your ged so you can learn how to spell properly :zzz

Directv in Navarre, Florida - My channels

I am out raged that directv will simply take away my favorite channels I pay more than 100.00 plus a month and been a customer since 2005. But will leave if it is not restored I'n common terms WTF. I am pissed!!! I understand this is a business but you have to give your customers what they want and I'n this type of economy you really don't want to lose any business. So all The fancy board members and qualifed management team come up with a plan to satisfy The needs of TVE customer who actually pay your salary!!!

directv has the balls to complain viacom will not let us pick and choose stations, while i am stuck paying for dozens of channel i will never watch. 100 dollars a month, and all the channels get together to set commercials at the same time, and directv says nothing about that! Hello Netflix, see you soon.

Directv in Flint, Michigan - Ditectv

I have had Directv for 4 years. I am no longer under a contract. Directv's service (tech support /customer service) has gone downhill the last couple of years anyway. The last 2 years my bill has increased around 20 percent and now this. So i cancelled my service today and Dish network will be here tomorow to hook it up and I'm saving myself $30 a month for the first year and $15 a month the second year. They are to greedy to resolve this for their customers so I see no reason to remain a customer. I am just looking out for whats in my best financial intrest as is directv.

Directv in Dunellen, New Jersey - Greed

*** directv. Where are my channels? I pay a lot of money for your service, and then you take away channels. How does it feel to lose customers? Does anyone know if Dish still has those channels? Or there are always books. My kid loves Nick, and how do you explain greedy bastards to a kid. Well, dear some people's motivation revolves around money...my wife likes to watch. MTV to relax at times. Directv take your satelite and...i bet the CEO still gets those channels. We should all go to his house and watch there. Who's with me?

Directv in Atlanta, Georgia - Direct Tv is a SCAM

I cannot belive that Direct Tv is doing this to us, its bad enough that my bill constantly goes up every month and now this? I think we should sue this company because it is a breach of contract. The channels that they took away are the ones my family watch! And they expect me to pay for non-existing channels I am definately going to Dish Network. I wish that I did not have a 24 month agreement with this *** company, I am going to my local news station to let them know that Direct Tv is still expecting its LOYAL customers to pay for channels that we longer have.

He decided to jump down the stairs and broke his ankle. Nowhe is really upset.

He can't watch his show while stuck in bed the next six weeks. :(

Do you realllly think it costs 120.00 bucks PLUS a month to provide us with tv? They are making a KILLLLING on us.....they can dig in and pay themselves to provide what they MADE US SIGN a contract for......

If you ask me they are BOTH to blame. Two big companies that are more concerned with lining their own pockets rather than providing the service that the consumers are paying for. This seems to be a RAMPANT problem with companies today.

She is pointing at the right people! DirectTV is refusing to pay for the channels, they expect to get away with screwing over everybody including their customers and Viacom is not having it, therefore viacom removed the channels.

Directv weren't the ones who took the channels off. Viacom owns those channels and they decided to remove them from the channel lineup. If you're going to complain, point it at the right people
