Directv in Pocatello, Idaho - LOWER OUR PAYMENT

ARE YOU GOING TO LOWER OUR PAYMENT. YOU HAVE TAKING 17 CHANNELS OFF SO YOU SHOULD LOWER IT. WE DONT HAVE ALOT OF GOOD CHANNELS AS IS. OUR PAYMENT IS UNDER JAMES CANTRELL. IF YOU CANT LOWER THE PAYMENT THEN WE WILL START LOOKING AROUND FOR SOMETHING ELSE. WE DONT LIKE LOOKING AT COOKING SHOWS, AND HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT. SOME PEOPLE MIGHT LIKE WATCHING THAT. YOU NEED TO PUT ON SOME GOOD SHOWS. I GUESS THE NEXT THING YOU WILL *** THE LOCAL CHANNELS THEN I KNOW WE WILL CHANGE. WE STATED WITH YALL IN 2006. SO WE want some good channels or lower the payment.

give us back our channels. we pay enough monthly to not have our service interupted. many are going to change their service maybe me included if we don't get them back. I love directtv but will find another provider if this isn't changed soon. My grandson...

Directv in Olmsted Falls, Ohio - Commom Practice of Direct TV

Here we go again. Direct TV Dropped all ViaCom last night. Of course if you call to complain, the standard company line is a deal could be done at any minute. If you read Viacom's side no talks are going on and none are scheduled. So now you end up paying your full amount but have 20 some less channels to watch. If you choose to opt out of their service, a penalty charge applies, they say you're breaking your contact. NO!!! Direct TV has broken their's. You pay for certain packages and you should get them for the length of the contract. I will be reporting this unfair practice to my State Attorney General, the press and the Better Business Group. I sick and tied of this company holding me hostage when they do not deliver on what I was told when I signed up.

What is bad also is Direct will do anything to get you as a customer and then they can care less. i was lied to from the beginning when i signed up, but i let that go.

Now here we go again. they have taken channels we love to watch, its time to move on to a new provider!

I suggest you reread your customer agreement which states that they can remove channels from the line up at any time. Sorry for your loss in a few channels for a couple days, but unfortunately this happens to all companies.

Directv is actually negotiating though, which is very unlike most companies who will just raise your prices. Contact your Attorney General he will laugh in your face. You should really read things before you get services installed.

And what kind of person honestly thinks that two companies in the business of making money are going to permanently drop channels? Let me ask you this, do you even have any common sense, let alone know what it is?

Regardless of the *** match ya'll are having with VIACOM - I pay GOOD money to have my MTV and Nick Jr....I WANT THEM BACK IMMEDIATELY....this is TOTAL TOTAL TOTAL ***!!!! We will be calling DISH NETWORK TODAY!!!!!! BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND!!!! I just don't get how you, as a company, would allow something like this to happen...especially to millions of customers. This not only disturbs my normal household production, but also disturbs my 2 year old TWIN GIRLS that live for the shows on Nick Jr.....why didn't you get rid of the *** stations you provide me with each month....not the GOOD ones....UGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

If u guys do notice that its not direct's fault..its all because viacom wanted us the directv customers to pay 30% more than what we already pay. Directv is trying to avoid that even though there is many people pissed about it..

We pay a lot of money for your service, they you take away programs that we watch daily, we pay extra for your boxes pay for all this stations they we don,t watch. This is B S !

My contract ends next month, I will be going to dish network, Direct can kiss my ***. I will get the last laugh.

Direct tv are you going to credit your customers for channels that they are paying for and cant see no one is talking about that. We consumers are paying good and too much money for something we cant see.

Just called you up. of course I would not get a live person to speak with. but you were certainly prepared for the backlash that your company caused. after NOT BEING ABLE TO VOICE MY COMPLAINTS, you conveniently ended the message by telling me you are doing everthing you can to keep us happy, what a load of horse dung. more wasted time on my part. i hope to see a big fat rebate on my next bill for the wasted channels and loss of my time for your foolishness. do you hear me????as they use to say to us in the military

I agree that my monthly bill is ridiculous in price because we are

watching reruns anyways. So selfish on both parties to do such a thing to the custimers that make both companies billions of dollars. Change your programming with new shows not reruns.

Directv in Pearland, Texas - Direct TV > Viacom

Viacom tried to raise rates on YOU & Direct TV told them "NO". Viacom removed the channels on July 11, 2012 when Direct TV would NOT pay an increase. Viacom (CBS network imbeciles) ran BANNERS using the standard, old Democrat party line of "it's only pennies per day" for the increase & it will NOT raise your payment (which is a lie). Viacom tries to bully Direct TV into a higher fee & that would be passed on to the CUSTOMER in their bill. (Sadly, most of the complainers don't understand this fundamental principle of economics. The final CUSTOMER always pays for rate/tax increases!) Viacom produces tons of bad shows & networks (*** TV, the racist BET & Dora), although the quality of Sponge Bob & Fairly Odd Parents are a clear exception. If you want to kiss the feet of Viacom & their Soviet style propaganda, then go ahead & be happy! When Viacom comes back to reality, those channels will be reinstated...they NEED the Direct TV $$$, badly. Have you seen the hideously bad CBS programming? LOL! Somebody needed to tell Viacom's Commisars to "SHOVE IT" & Direct TV had the guts to do it! If you don't like Direct TV, then PAY someone else's increased rates. Hurray for Direct TV!

I have never had any problems with Direct, and have had the same pricing since I have had their service. And by golly I can do with out the channels from viacom. But if we are short 16-17 channels then we should be given credit 16-17 dollars for the channels we are short.

One correction should be made for the above; CBS (and with it Showtime and The CW) parted ways with Viacom years ago.

All Viacom has are MTV, BET, Nick, and Spike.

Directv in Maryville, Tennessee - Direct TV Terrible Folow Up and Customer Service

Been a customer for more than 5 years.Was hit with a tornado April of 2011.My satelite equipment was damaged.I have the protection plan.Though I was out of my house for more than 5 months.Direct continued to bill me even after being notified.Even though I had the protection plan was told I would have to sign a new contract to get my service reinstated. I have been passed around from one office to another never speaking to the same person twice! False promises & hours on hold still no resolve.They are not accountable at all !!

I play all the time with my kids. That is not the point my son can not do anything right now.

He is stuck in bed. Watching victorious makes his day. He also loves Dragon ball gt. Being these shows come on at certain times he is very upset.

With his growing plate broken we had to cancel all our summer activities.

Like the fair, six flags and the water parks. He is not allowed to move at all.

Solution: I applaud you. Thank God for people like you.

But unfortunately millions of parents nationwide woke up this morning to find that their kids full time babysitter was taken away from them. Most of them stood there in silence, the other half took to their ways of calling the customer service number, not knowing what to do with their children. How upsetting it must be to actually have to interact with your children, maybe read them a book, or have them play outside ( that place with the Sun and grass and stuff). So many people affected, missing some tv for a couple of days is completely impossible!

Should people know that TV is now a necessity next to food and water? Directv is such *** for actually negotiating instead of just raising the price. Such *** h oles.

I hope they realize how many lives they have ruined and people they have killed.

( In case you didn't realize, that was SARCASM)

Viacom that owns nick ,MTV spike , com cent. Is trying to force direct to carry more of ther channels that aren't watched and also charge them more to witch DMV will have to pass on the cost to us so it's Viacom that is the bad guy email the call them and get them to back off unless you want more *** channels like logo

Directv in Reston, Virginia - Dropped channels

After a lengthy research with the other dish companies, 3 months ago I chose Direct TV. There were certain channels that I watch on a regular basisthat I would received with D TV. What I'm saying is these channels are ONLY channels I watch. And now with less than a ONE day warning, they are gone. Before I signed the contract, I was assured of these channels. I believe my contract has been breached. If you don't honor your end of the contract, I will not honor mine. No one told me 3 months ago that you had a problem with VIACOM and I might lose them soon. It was purposely withheld information. I understand that rates change, but 3 months, (3 months) into a 24 month contract seems quite unfair to have to go without channels that were the only reason I chose you over other companies. No way am I going to stick it out. Across the screen you ran a number to call, but calling it was worthless................no one ever answered that phone. Yes, I am pissed!

I think this complete and utter BS that i was not contacted a few months ago to even see if I, the paying customer, was willing to pay an increase. Instead, you take it upon yourselves to flash this "info banner" saying vhannels would be removed as of 12 tonight.

Highly pissed, upset, and on my way to see what kind of deals cable and other satelitte providers are offering. Yes...i will be dropping Direct TODAY!!!!
