Directv in Mooresville, North Carolina - Direct tv

We signed up with direct tv and got bundled without being asked with windstream. had to change our phone number of 22 years. now they are going up so much on our bill, i callled today and new customers get lower rates than loyal customers, i was told nothing could be done and if we switched services we could not come back to direct for 2 years. we live on a fixed income as my husband had a stroke and we cannot afford a higher bill but they do not care, i even told the rep i would change to dish network and that did not make a difference

Directv in Los Angeles, California - Direct TV is unhelpful when you find a problem-which happens a lot!

When I first signed up for the Direct TV, we were given a warranty(which I thought was 90 days, turns out it was only 24hours!) I encountered many problems; the remote would not work, and some channels that we paid for would not work when a very important game would be on. They were unhelpful over the phone and took three to four days before they could take the time to come to my house. When there was bad wind one day at my house the tv stopped working because they said the dish got turned-or moved. Also when you record a show and then watch it later you find out that it is not the show that the title says it is, that is extremely frustrating-especially when it is a sport game(which has happened more than a handful of times!) I would not recommend Direct TV to anyone-I had Time Warner before, and wished I still had them as a provider-they were so much better than Direct TV.

Directv in Saint George, Utah - Existing customer can't bundle in move to new house

I'm an existing customer. I'm building a new home and want to transfer the Direct TV to the new location in a (bundle) with other telephone and internet services at the (bundle) price of $21.95 for Choice Extra package. Direct TV will not allow this unless I now pay $61.95 per month and sign a new contract. I attempted to cancel old contract and just start a new one in the (bundle) with the Internet and telephone and Direct TV would not even let me start a new account at the advertised (bundle) price. When I talked to the first Direct TV agent he said that maybe he could work some deal on my existing account if I just transferred it without joining a (bundle). BROTHER WHAT A BUNCH OF LYING UNDERHANDED SCAM ARTESTS THESE PEOPLE ARE! The FCC should shut them down and take them to court for deceptive trade practices.

My husband and I signed up for Direct TV mostly for their NFL Sunday Ticket promotion since we are GB Packer fans living in Michigan. We did not have any other good tv offers in the area and went with them. Our installer was great. At the time we had a regular older tv...

DirecTV: avoid WHOLE HOME DVR SERVICE

I called DirecTv to order On Demand and ended up getting the Whole home HD-DVR system as well, what a mistake. First off I had 3 DVR's that could record 6 shows at one time and each had it's own hard drive on it, now I have 1 DVR that is connected to the other 2. That means I can record 2 shows at one time and have only one hard drive. WTF...who would switch to that? If I wanted to be able to watch the same the show in other rooms I could record it in those rooms as well. I also lost the ability to pause/rewind (THIS IS HUGE) live TV in the other 2 rooms and if my main TV is recording 2 shows I'm stuck watching one of them or I have to go to another room because you can't change channel. next month DirecTv will let you upgrade to Black and White TV!!!

Directv in Virginia Beach, Virginia - Not having/offering the Superbowl as well as Hockey games on channel 603 really stinks .

Now that Direct TV states it cannot work out a deal to show our local NBC and NBCSN channels here in New England I will be looking at ending my 18 plus years relationship (as well as tens of thousands of dollars I have paid to Dirct TV over those years). I as well as many New Englanders, especially sports minded clients will be opting out of Direct TV. This is completely a *** BUSINESS DEAL WHICH MIGHT HAVE COST SOME CHUMP CHANGE TO DIRECT TV TO NEGOTIATE A COMPRIMISE. I will never suggest Direct TV to anyone. In the past I have added many of my friends, co-workers and family to the Direct TV services. This will never happen again going forward. This business mistake will come back and haunt Direct TV. I really hope it "bites into the bottom line after the affected customers cancel your services".

Direct Tv has dealt senior citizens a bad blow. Direct is watched in the daytime by more Seniors than any other age group. Yet you have made the background of the quide impossilbe to read. Not only that have you thought of the people with sight problems. My husband...

Directv in High Point, North Carolina - Direct TV customer service sucks

The hard drive on my DVR crashed, so my TV will no work. They are replacing it, but they are shipping it to me and I have to replace it. In the mean time, no TV until they decide to ship me a new receiver, and then I have to intall it myself. Mean while there is a man who works for direct TV that lives on my block, but could he bring me a new one and replace it....NOOOOOO..... I did send them a note via there customer serviceless email, and got a nice pleasant, "that's just the way it is" response. Going back to Time Warner as soon as this *** contract is up.

DTV IS TERRIBLE!!! THERE HAD BEEN 2 DIFFERENT REPS - 1 TELLING ME I WOULD RECEIVE ALL NY STATIONS AND SPORTS

REP 2 TOLD ME NO I WOULD HAVE TO PETITION OR SOMETHING SIMILIAR TO GET NY STATIONS, THEN TOLD ME TO SWITCH TEAMS--LIONS?// THEY DIDNT WANT TO TAKE CARE OF THIS SITUTION AND WANTED TO STILL CHARGE ME.

OLD ADAGE YOU PAY FOR THIS AND THEY GIVE YOU THAT. VERY POOR CORPORATE MGMT AND SERVICE --WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM ON AT ALL.

Directv in Washington, District Of Columbia - Direct tv and the blackout for up coming Superbowl

Not happy about the blackout for the upcoming Superbowl! Direct tv better get this solved or they will face the worse back lash in consumer history! I personally will drop them like yesterdays news if i miss the game. Just think how many others will as well. They will become a thing of the past ! This is the Super bowl , what are they thinking????? Mass, New york, NH, just to name locally that I know that are the biggest and toughest fans! The bars, the restaurants. that air the game will loose money! To have the FCC step in should send a louder message!

You can only help them by dropping your service. You signed the contract for 2 years and they will get their money from you. The only difference, is you won't be watching any TV while you pay for it, LOL.

YOU WILL FACE THE WORSE BACK LASH IN CONSUMER HISTORY. I too will drop you so quick ( despite the fact I just signed a new two year contract)if the Super Bowl is not televised. I believe you have already done irreversible damage to your business and have until this Sunday to keep the ship afloat in New England.
