Shame on DirecTV. They have had plenty of time to come to an agreement.

I should not have to miss programming because they can't do their job in a timely manner.

I pay way too much money for their service to have to put up with this BS. If it isn't fixed within the next couple of days, I promise to cancel my service and switch to another provider or just a regular antenna!!!!!!!

sounds like your system may not be grounded,which is not to far of a stretch seeing how 99% of installs are incorrect. Not being grounded can cause static build up in the box.

Directv in Miami, Florida - Restore WSVN for local services

Same as stated above!!!!! This is the time of year that is important to viewers, especially sports viewers. Negotiations should not be placed on the current subscriber of DirectTV. We selected DirectTV so that we could extend our viewing, not to be at lost for the local stations that are available to the people who do not choose or can not afford cable. This is unfair to all those who subscribe to DirectTV. You will loose many subscribers at all cost as we loose confidence in the way this is being handled. We have been faithful to our agreement and we expect the same of DirectTV.

I have waited over a year to see the new program, Alcatraz and now find I no longer have that channel. One of the reasons I signed up with Direct TV was because of that channel.

If I don't get it back and fast, I'm heading straight to U Verse! We went through this about 5 months ago and it's getting old real fast.

I HATE it! Not only is it extremely difficult to read (You DO realize probably most of your subscribers are older!), but I just discovered you've now changed the 'GUIDE' so I now have to scroll down to get to a different Channel!

Just an update..... My bank refunded the money because they do not recognize the super fine print that DTV thinks gives them the right to steal from former customers...

The banks says it is under review but I don't imagine anything will change... I did finally get a final bill but it just says paid.. no accounting of the charges...

I wish people would research companies before they use them. But the big thing would be that the company would value a good reputation and stop all this terrible customer service.

Directv, Fox Channel in Albany, Georgia

On Saturday, January 14, 2012 during the entire New Orleans Saints versus San Francisco 49er tackel football game, Channel 31 (Fox) skipped and I even contacted Directv and this did not help the channel from stop skipping. This took place in Albany, Georgia and want Directv to correct this problem and for the Fox channel to offficially apologize to me and my family. My name is Jason Spangenberg and I live on 7th Avenue in Albany, Georgia. Bottom line, I am a very unhappy Directv paying customer sense 2008. I am thinking of cancelling my service with Directv due to this error.

Directv in Overland Park, Kansas - I could not watch mu football game

Direct tv had the fotball game blocked. THE NFL PLAYOFF. This should be considered as a breach of contract for their 30 million customers . UNACCEPTABLE. They are not telling me when they might be able to show the future games. I am pissed at FOX and Direct TV for allowing this to happen. Does anyone have any respect left for the consumer who toil all month long to pay their bills, who do not have time during the week to enjoy a service that they have to pay for. These events on the weekends are what we pay for. They will lose me as a customer, as for Fox they have lost all my respect.

Directv in Escalon, California - Equipment policy

When I purchased equipment at Best Buy I was never told that I would have to return it or be hit with a ridiculous fee. Directv is a rip off. Maybe when setting up new equipment people should be told that they will be required to return it when you cancel service.I never would have purchased the equipment in the first place if I knew I was just making a down payment on equipment that should be furnished for free. you can take these receivers i will be returning and shove them up your ***. Best Buy and Directtv has had this scam going for many years. They knowingly lead the customer into believeing they are purchasing this equipment when in fact they are not.AT&T also has a bundled scam going with DTV so AT&T is not much better than DTV.Your local cable is indeed the best choice because there is no charge for equipment,no contract and they have a "buy back program" that is they will give you 3 months free service so you can get rid of DTV.
