Directv screwed me again

From the beginning they screwed us. Between the contract and the montly bill.. Wasnt happy about the customer service either.. decided to keep it for a little longer cause I didnt want to pay the disconnection fee. got so pissed at them that I ended my contract paid all the bills. they took 127 bucks out of my bank account and than another 96 and than charged me for the dvr. we than called to get the package for then to pick up the dvr 5x. should of gotten 144 $ back instead we r getting 41$. mmhh something is missing

I called Direct TV for a little problem with the satellite. I talked with the technical manager named johan with ID #0011 with a problem with my second receptor. He didn't know and couldn't solve the problem. My problem was just to receive help on how to set up the cable of the second receptor. I told him that there was no cable from outside to the receptor. he insisted that there should be one. We argue for a dumb thing for almost 20 minutes. At the end he was so rude and he send me to ***. After that he told me to desactivate my account. Honestly, after i hang up with this rude person and unskilled manager, i found out that the second receptor was a reflector of the first receptor. He didn't know that the second receptor was a reflector of the first receptor and he was the manager. i had to find out for myself. What a bad service.

HI I AM A FAILY NEW CUSTOMER OF DIRECT TV, WHEN I CALLED UP DIRECT TV TO GET A QUOTE ON THE NEXT STEP UP FROM THE BASIC PACKAGE THEY QUOTED ME A PRICE OF $58.OO PER MONTH NOW WHEN I ASKED THEM THIS I DIDNT ABOUT ASKING THEM WHAT THE PRICE WAS AFTER THEIR INTRODUCTORY PRICE SCAM THE FIRST MONTH BILL HAD INSTALATION CHARGES ON IT SO I EXSPECTED IT TO BE A LITTLE HIGHER THE FOLLOWING MONTH I GOT A BILL FOR $99.OO AGAIN SO I GAVE THEM A CALL TO FIND OUT THEY TOLD ME BECAUSE I NEVER SIGHNED UP FOR MY REBATE THAT THEY HAD TO CHARGE ME MORE I HAD NEVER HERD OF THIS WHY DO I HAVE TO SIGHN UP FOR A REBATE TO GET THE SERVICE FOR THE PRICE QUOTED TO ME ON THE PHONE SO THE $99.00 BILLS WENT ON FOR ABOUT FOUR MONTHS THEN I NOTICED THE BILL WENT FROM $99 TO A $149 DOLLARS A MONTH SO HEAR I AM NOT EVEN 7 MONTHS INTO THE CONTRACT AND I AM PAYING ALMOST 3 TIMES WHAT I WAS QUOTED AND ALMOST DOUBLE WHAT I WAS PAYING FOR THE SAME SERVICE AT DISH NETWORK HOW DO YOU STAY WITH A COMPANY THAT LURES YOU IN LIKE THIS APPARENTLY THE INTRODUCTORY PRICE ENDED AS SOON AS I SIGHNED THE PAPPER I THINK I WILL CALL THEM UP TONIGHT AND TELL THEM TO COME GET THEIR ***

I was *** enough to sign a contract with them and that sucks because they do have the crappiest service ever. When you sign up the rep promises so many things and you get nothing but bull from customer service saying "I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT". they are othing but SCAM!!!!!!!!!

I have been a direct tv customer for the past six years and of the six years I have had a few problems .but nown as a returing customer i have more problems then I had in the six years. Well I have been complainting for the past three months, I have push the reset buttom more then i care to remember, and I have also pressed rer red blue blue and green and I think yellow did'nt help at all did not solove the problem. So at this time I am very fed up with the thing I have been begging for a new reciver for the past two months. So please can you help me. I'm a very loyal customer and I need to get this fix with an apoligie. thank u a very unhappy customer

After 1-1/2 hours on the phone with different agents, my problem in billing was not resolved.Talking with a supervisor, the matter got worse. He said , he was the last stop.

Directv in Fargo, North Dakota - Direct TV rugby channel

Direct TV claimed to be carrying the world cup of Rugby in September but you had to order another channel for 12.95 per month, seem cheap until you find out they dont carry all the games like thet told you and the semi finals and finals were on another channel which was pay per view , another $ 24.99 per game. THe other big problem is they claim that you can get a package for $29.99 per month, try and find it on their web site, you can't it isn't there because they Quote "want people to purchase the other packages onthe web starting at $ 60.00 per month" then get this I was having trouble with the reciever and they wanted me to make sure that it was plugged in to the power supply, wouldn't be having trouble then because it wouldn't be on . I am going back to cable for the basis and then Net flick's and a good book.

My wife was told we will get an hd dvr box.. The day it was installed unfortunately I wasn't home . When I did get home I kept saying to my wife that the pic isn't good but she kept telling me it's hd... Well needless to say I just found out it's not hd and direct tv says oh well, sorry we could install one for u for $200.00 .... Now that I wanna cancel with Them it'll be a charge of $480 ,.... And my conformation clearly states hd box.... . What a shroud company .... Very pissed off at them

I too fell into this trap. When I choose the package I was told that I was going to pay around 48.00 per month, but my fist bill was for around 80.00.

When I tried to sign-up for the rebate on their website, the website didn't recognized my account, I kept trying a few more times and, same thing. Finally I contacted them by phone and they told that my rebate was no longer valid because 30 days had passed. I told them that I had tried to register on their website but it didn't recognized my account. I couldn't convince them to abide by the price we had agreed and now they are charging me 390.00 which I haven't pay and at the moment don't intend to.

I have tried to fix things up with them in a way that we can go back to that deal, but seems that there is nobody there really in charge to work some deal.

They are the ones loosing the money...

if they could do that deal, what's is the difference if you didn't call or did. It's just a scam that somebody have to put a stop.

Directv in Los Angeles, California - Poor Customer Service by Direct TV - No Show for Installation and phone agents not informed

Direct TV was scheduled for an installation. After waiting all day and calling in to check on when the technician would arrive the response was that I had to wait the full "window". After the time had passed, I called Direct TV and was told that the technician did arrive and spoke to someone and needed additional equipment. After further investigation, it was discovered that the technician had submitted erroneous notes and was not able to be located. Direct TV was suppose to send someone out that same day. They did not. After two months of waiting for someone to show up and several hours on the phone with multiple transfers, another phone agent said that they had the address wrong and that that is what caused the confusion and, therefore, they needed to cancel my initial request and transfer me, yet again, to another department to set up a new installation request. I have yet to reach a person who can assist me in getting the account set up.

Paychecks count, I average 3500 dollars a week, and I am a tech, I drive around eating, burping and ***. Then depending on how I feel, I may or may not do your job.

I was supposed to get DTV installed today anytime from 1 pm to 6 pm. Around 6:20 pm I received a call from teir customer support asking about my experience with the installation.

I told the lady that no one showed up and she didn't knew about that. She wanted re-schedule for next week. You may imagine my answer. I told them that the first impression counts and I didn't wanted their service.

I cancelled right away. I called again (888)596-4711 to get the confirmation number and the guy answered like I was calling to his house, he didn't gave me his name and told me that my account was cancelled and that's all I needed to know.

DTV customer service sucks. Now I know why their offers are cheaper, they have low paid *** bags that don't care about service, just care to get paid.

I signed you for the $19.99 programing and was set up with an appointment with an installer. He was suppost to be there on a Sun. called and canceled and rescheduled to next Sunday because he said it looked like rain. I explained it was sunny where I was and he still would not come. Found out later he had been in town and had hooked up another customer on that Sunday. I get my first bill and it was for $123.00 I called and they said they could credit me. I get my next bill and it's for over $70.00. Called agin and they credit me again. Get my third bill and once agin it's $70.00. This is nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just signed up for service sept22,2011 tell me why I have a new bill showing the current charges due Dec 8 and why I received a collection notice from some agency for 178 dollars for service provided to a mr. Lopez. This is a new number for me and new service. I left Fios for this and now your trying to rip me off for a bill owed by a dead beat customer. I think I smell a law suit what do you think? The issue is they need someone like me to teach there staff how to assist, correct and retain customers, but instead they cheaped out let the crazies run the asylum!

Direct TV installation. They are worst as I attempted to add another HDTV DVR unit to another room in my home. The first 4 hour wait, he was late of course resulted in the installer saying he could not install it through the wall or any proper way and he did not have the proper equipment anyway. My wife wasted 4 1/2 hours waiting for that ***. He said his supervisor will come tomorrow. So after waiting another four hours plus, and even calling them prior to "advise" them to notify their installation team to be on time and have the right equipment which I was assured would happen the guy of course was late so 45 minutes later I called to cancel the entire order. No company cares less about this problem than Direct TV. Their installers are *** I have a cable under my hallway carpet diagonally. It looks like a 10 yr old installed it. I was not there for the last install. They did it half *** as again remember these installers are *** They get paid the same if the install is done right or not. Don't believe they do attics, NOT!

I have never had any problem with Direct Tv and I have been with them since 2006. Sometimes my TV goes out during bad weather, however, this is true for any satellite dish.

I had another company before and my neighbor shared the same signal as me. I could be watching a good movie and all of a sudden, my TV will flip on its own.

I switched back to Direct TV and never had any issues. I guess I am just lucky....Shay :)
