Directv in El Cajon, California - Released me from my contract then charged me.

I was promised Bundled service and 30 days to change my mind by the sales person. Never got me bundled. Ran up 200 dollars of cell phone costs trying to get it straightened out. End result was having my honesty challenged being told they would listen to "the taped conversations" to verify what I "claimed" only to also be told be another rep that they tape randomly and no way to review. Finally told I would be allowed to disconnect without penalty (took 3 weeks of my calls and having them get in my face) only to find they did fine me 400 for 1 month of not having full service and no bundled service!

I don't believe DTV tapes any calls,this is just some more of their Bull they feed their customers. If you are interested in etting your money back go to eHow.com and type in: How to Cancel DirecTv Service & Stop, Avoid or Reverse Early Cancellation Fee.This does work it is how I got my money back.

Directv in Pine Grove, California - Women's Basketball should not be relegated to the pay for view channels.

Put the Women's college basketball on your regular ESPN channels. You are prejudice toward thew men's basketball. If you want revenue to increase then change Men's college and/or Pros to the pay channels. My wife and I like to watch the college women's basketball but a lot of times they are eliminated to the pay channels or left out altogether. We are on a limited budget so can't afford your pay channels and since you don't include those in our package we can't enjoy them. So, are you there to make your customers happy or are you just trying to gouge the people just to make more money that you can't take with you?

Directv in Lake Forest, California - Deceived in pricing.

Extremely unhappy with this service. Unfortunately, I am locked into the contract. My bill has increased every month. Your sales person was very deceptive. I have made two calls to the company and the representatives do not speak English very well and were no help at all. The only reason I switched to your company is that I thought that Time Warner Cable was not renewing their contract with Channel 4 which never did happen. I have been ripped off and I will be complaining on YELP and to everyone I know. I will also be posting it on FACEBOOK.

On friday my wife called and set up service with directtv, they ran her credit and went through the entire approval process. on saturday they came out and installed the dish and all of the components and began service. within two hours they discontinued service and when we called customer service they explained to us that there was an outstanding balance for 340.00 dollars and that they would not be turning our service back on until this was paid. since we only had service for two hours it would be impossible for us to have an outstanding balance. when we confronted them with this they claimed it was attached to the address. They refused to turn on our service back on and kept trying to get us to call a collection agency to fix this. As this was not our bill we sent a letter and gave them 10 days to remove the dish and all components they installed, since they failed to do this we are filing a civil complaint for fraud and filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office. (maybe with enough complaints they will have to adjust their business practices.

i order directv and they drafted my account for 221.35 and they dnt give me nothing they said that the address had a outstanding balance of 400.00 and i never had an account with them. They keep given me the run arounds about getting my money back.

Its like call this number, call that number to request a refund, but the same thing keep happening.

I done called a million times to get my deposit refund. Something really need to be done bout this company for real!

Directv in Anderson, Indiana - Unauthorized charges from our checking

cancelled in october 2008, Charges continued from our checking for many months, DTV will not refund, had 2 different problems, one in Indiana, not corrected, most recent in AZ, and after 3 months that was resolved. I feel the Indiana problem is Fraud by DTV I was referred to DTV Billing Disputes, to file a request for reimbursement of the charges from 10/08 thru 11/2010. I sent a letter on 11/18 and received no response. I sent a registered letter on 12/06/2010 and included phone Number. A letter was sent from DTV on 12/14/2010 stating they were unable to reach me, and gave me a number to call. I called and spoke with, Jay, then Ray, then a supervisor and was told they would not give put the money back in our account as I could not prove we did not have the service. We have not had service in Indiana with DTV since October 2008, and I feel this is illegal that they can take money from our checking. they did that to me several years ago, I contacted them and told them they had 10 days to return the money, I also contacted the better business bureau where they are located, it is easy to find what state and city they are in. Then you file a complaint and have the proof of what they did sent to the BBB.

Then contact the state attorney general's office and file a complaint. You should see your money returned to the account also ask for any bounced check fees you incurred when they took the money illegally.

Directv in Orlando, Florida - Your customer service stinks

You installed Direct Tv in my mothers house which was ordered by my nephew. He did not pay the bill and it was cut off. My mother has tried several times to call customer service and have you go out and take out the equipment. All she gets is an automated voice asking how she wants to pay the bill. She just wants the equipment taken out so she can get other Tv service. I tried to call tonight and I was told by a machine to call back later in the week. I can't believe such a big company as yourselves do not have the money to employ customer service people. No wonder there are so many unemployed people. I would'nt have Direct Tv if you payed me.Your company does'nt know what customer service is. !!!!!

The solution for the mother would be to call 1-800-603-4134. This non-automated number would put her with the right people. They would be able to set her up with free return shipping for the equipment.

That happened to me last year. When you get the automated voice just keep pressing "O" and it will get you to somebody.

Directv sux, but so does Dish and Cox. They're all jerks.

we are being billed for payed perview we didnt order or watch. And letting people into our account without our permission.There was someone called into direct tv said they forget the password and had our password givin to them.Now they are saying that we owe them a bunch of money for the pay perview that we kept telling them we didnt order it.Why was someone allowed to have our password without our permission that is what I want to know.This needs to be looked into.Or they need different people working there. we will never go back to direct tv again.

Directv Contract a Lie!

I upgraded from a regular DVR box last year and I was told it would be $100 for the HD DVR box. I agreed and thought I was in a 1 year contract. I am paying $105 a month for a HD DVR box and two 6 year old SD receivers. I have been a customer for 6 years. When I contacted Directv they told me I had signed a two year agreement instead of 12 month agreement like I was told. This company flat out lies!!! They said to bad you signed the contract. Avoid this company at all cost. This company is a joke and as soon as my contract is up I am switching. I have not been this pissed at a company in a long time. Avoid! Avoid!

Funny thing you should mention this DTV has the best customer service ratings out of all the TV companies in America. So, the moment you think you'll get a better experience somewhere else, good luck with that.

Know what happen to the man who thought? Thought he had to *** and *** himself. Im 100 percent positive that before the tech left he had you sign paper work,specifically a "LEASE AGREEMENT",shame on you for blindly signing it.Douche!!!!!
