Directv in Batavia, Ohio - DIRECT TV Bills me though service was cancelled

I cancelled my satellite TV service from Direct TV in July, 2009 by email. I continue to be billed each month for service I don't use. When I called and asked for a credit, I was placed on megahold, spoke to a customer service agent and later, his supervisor, who denied my credit rudely. I then resorted to disputing the payments through my credit card company. That is NO way to run a business. I am amazed that in this climate of companies typically bending over backwards to satisfy customers, blatant rudeness and unfair practices can exist! Be warned!!

Directv in Lewiston, Maine - Services noted in the sale but didnt have in area

I recently signed up with direct TV with the understanding that I could bundle my DSL with Direct TV. But the representative never checked to see if it could be done with Fairpoint and signed me up. No bundle in this area. Perfect example of falsly givin info to get a new customer. I filled out the sheet which they asked to see how things went and told them, to no avail. When my contract is up, off comes direct TV Dish and equip. Then they will ask why? *** isnt it. I ended my service with Direct TV, I have always paid my bills on time and never been late. Direct TV went into my checking account using both my credit card and checking information without my consent and withdrew funds. It was not the withdrawl that upsets me it is the fact they used my personal information without my consent that makes me mad as ***. Who do they think they are. Not to mention the horrible service I recieved which is why I left. But it was not as if it was $100's of dollars owed it was $21.21, yet they can do what ever they want violate my privacy rights.

don,t use direct tv they are the worse in the market very bad service around mississippi please no use there service *** with them and there service and go to dish net there the best in market but these direct tv there bad and they tell you nothing but lies please be curfule when you chose stay a way from direct tv becuase the will trick you and they will fool u about there service and they will fool you and they will say we will give this and that but nothing but lies don.t belefe them they are liers and fool

I agree I had similiar issue they said I would get local chanels but I don't.I was told I would get a free move didn't. I was told I would have my tv hooked up in less then a week but no 2 weeks to the day dvr was hooked up wrong the installer was in a hurry to get to the next job. I hate that I switched from cable or I wish I went to dish I heard good things from them

Directv in Newport, Washington - DirectTV is nothing more then bloodsuckers

I was a loyal DirectTV customer until I moved. I had been assured by my new Landlord that having DirectTV was ok. When the installer for Direct came he freaked over the fact that I lived in a 3 story building. He insisted that I call my Landlord and explain everything involved in the installation so I did. She then came over to my home and talked to the installer herself. After finding out all the damage he was going to do she said no to the install. He assured me that all would be fine. It wasn't I was required to return two DVR's that I had purchased for $300. And they still want a $330 cancellation fee. It was not my fault that I had to cancel my account. I was told to write to them, which I have 3 times now. They still want their money.

direct tv billed me for 11 ppv movies i did not order i tried to dispute this but no way so i canceled my service sent them email on where to ship boxes an remotes to this was 2 month ago they say i got to pay my bill befour they can give me address on where to ship equiptment to that is bull *** i need address where to send equiptment if anyone can help me i would be very greatful there is something very wrong with company even after i cancled my service they insist i never did

Need the boxes to send all your *** back to you and send the finally bill with the boxes and send the address to so they can come to the right place so i won,t get charged for the *** anymore. I still have got three bills since the cancellation My address is 465 Dill Rd.

customer service will not help you if you forgot your password they are unprofessional and i told people do not order direct tv call comcast.how can you refuse to help a customer they are a joke when it is a storm the cable goes out i told my mom do not get direct tv please they suck.my mom is 78 years old she forgot the password what do i do about getting good service from these people please help .the remote control has lost the back part of the coverind it is very cheap i can not get another one because my cannot remember the password i mean come on yo.

This is my second letter concerning acct #27601446. I've requested a copy of the call that was made to me from your office to continue my service. Like I have stated previously I did not break any contract and the transcript will prove this. I was a Direct TV customer for about 3yrs. I was having a lot of billing issues so that's the reason I had call Customer service to discontinued service then I switched to a new location. I set up service with another provider the same day. I was solicit by Direct TV two hrs later for me to continue my service with them. The representative apologized and showed concern about the problem I had for me to discontinue my service. She states they were will to do what it takes for me to remain the loyal customer I was. Basically, she told me since I've been a customer for so long, the receiver that I had was very old and she would replace it for me, give me HD access, DVR and six month of movie channels complimentary. I agreed to stay, but only if I did not have anymore billing errors. Well the problems continued, I was getting charges for services I did not even have plus instead of 6 months movie channel only received 3 months. Nothing changed so I decided to try another provider. Now I'm being told I'm breaking a contract. This representative has made a bad name with me for Direct TV. Customer service has always been good about fixing all the problems I've had but I was not aware this was going to be another two year contract, this was never mention in the RECORDED CALL, if I would have known I would have never reconnected my service. I never receive the HD access or the DVR service she mentioned. This negative info cause me to get denied on a loan application for my first home which cause me the 1st time tax credit I was entitle to.

Directv in Seattle, Washington - Direct TV and Versus

I pay Direct tv for the Versus chanel and no longer receive it and yet my bill is the same. I expect to be compensated but can get no where with Direct T.V.Direct tv needs to relocate their call center to a place in the U.S where we can understand what people on the other end are saying. The only reason I went with Direct tv was for the outdoor chanel so why should I still be paying the same price. Time to get real rather than just say oh well not much we can do about it.
