Directv in Saint Louis, Missouri - Service never right, held for 6mo. and billed for a mo. not used

I ordered direct for my new hd tv and internet server. Paid fees for installation and got wrong equipment. Waited several more wks. to find out they wanted $200 for hd connection I was never told about and blaming myself for not telling them that is what I needed. I think after paying $3500 for a tv I would know what I needed. Put it on hold for 6 mo. due to not being able to pay more money and being mad, I got a bill for $70 for a month of tv I never was informed I had and did not use. The equipment is not even hooked up at this time and now I am moving in 4 days. Not fair.

Directv in Denver, Colorado - Service Complaint

Ordered Internet Connection Kit Wireless Adapter from DirectTV to access "On Demand". It did not work. I worked with DirectTV technical support. They could not help and referred me to Lynksys technical support. They could not get it to work. I wanted to return it to DirectTV and they would not accept it. I was told there was no one else I could talk to and the executives were to busy to listen to my problem. I'm out about $100.00. We have been unable to get ESPN2 on occasion. As we write the the TV is out because of a snow storm. I have to climb up a ladder to reach the roof location to clean it off. Neighborhood joke: a standing ladder to your roof means you have DirectTV. With today's technology it seems this problem could be solved.

Can't get signal most of the time. There answer we can charge you a fee of $49.95 to come out and help you get a signal.

Wait a minute I thought the money I paid every month was to receive a signal or we can charge you $100.00 for canceling your service because you are not getting a signal. Something is really wrong with this picture.

i used to work for direct tv. your sat dish is misaligned. also, one or both of the homeplugs they sent you are defective.

I" signed" up for the most amazing deal with Direct T.V. And as you can imagine I'm now stuck with *** service, having my bank account overdrawn,and promises of a greater tommarow!

HOG-WASH!!!!!! They did say I can lower to a different package that would come out to more than my quoted price on the greater package.

I felt this was a breech of our "contract" but I cant cancel this rip-off service without a $20 a month fee for the next 22 month. If you are planning to get direct tv......RUN!!!!!!!!!

This just happened to me, Direct tv took 408.00 off of my debit card, without my consent. This was my rent money, now I am going to get a eviction notice.

I also canceled my service due to the fact we could not afford it anymore. Time for a class action law suit. We all deserve our money back. My e-mail is suzannetorrez@msn.com.

If anyone wants to talk to me. I am very upset about this and I am going to everthing I can to get my money back.

Directv in San Francisco, California - Satellitedirect-tv sells a product that is not functional

Satellitedirect-tv promotes an online TV program with over 3500 channels. It has been my experience that approximately 1% of the channels will have content to view and I believe the content is not the current programing. I paid $49.95 for something that is not usable. This is just another scam to get your money and they cover themselves with the fine print their Terms Policy. It is very difficult to get any support and I believe that the support they do have is nothing more than a complaint department that backs up every communication with a referral to their Terms Policy.

We recorde a lot of shows -- basically to fast forward past all the commercials trying to sell us a lot of junk we don't want or need. On occassion the DVR stops displaying the video and only has the audio channel -- the fast forward and back fail to work -- when we tried to call Direct TV and explain we had a bad DVR and would like to have the unit replace -- we were told because the communications to the box work we were stuck with the broken box and they refused to replace it. I spoke to the rudest supervisor "Curtis" -- after being bad mouthed nad was told in a round about way to go to *** and he refuused to help me and eventually hung up on me -- He is fairly typical of the customer service people we have talked to in the past -- Talking to Direct TV Customer Service is a NIGHTMARE --

I guess they are a big company and have very good lawyers and the consumer can go to *** because they have good lawyers.

I am going to drop them and go to a real comapny with real customer service

The review I read from this customer is right on the mark. The Direct Tv company is raising their rates to established customers by 10% annually overall and up to 350% on the local sports package from a few years ago.

The rates for a extra receiver has went from $4 to $7 and our bill has went from $42 in 2003 to $103 in 2017 with the same package. Customer service is a joke when you call them.

We spent an hour on the phone and when promised that they would return our call, they never called back. You talk to someone in the Philipines..

They have the worst channel lineup I’ve ever seen. They no longer try to give their customers what they want to watch.

Now they just care what is cheapest to provide like all the jewelry, sales, And old movie reruns nobody watches. I will gladly pay for what I want to watch not the crap they provide us.

They need to wake up or go out of business. Very bad Karma they are creating for themselves.
