Directv in Laurel, Maryland - Direct TV

I have been a customer of Direct TV for the last 3 months and I've had such a bad experience so far. They got me a deal for 39.99 and they always send me a bill for 60.00. I am soo sick and tired to calling them up everytime I receive the bill, the person assures me that he/she would make a note on their system and make sure the right bill will be issued in future but that doesnt seem to happen. Their customer support people lack the ability to resolve a minor issue like this. I would never ever recomment Direct TV to anyone...

I agree they the most incompetent company ever.They couldnt even establish a price for me,i got so many different qutoes..on the phone for an hour and a half.Then they tried to charge me for an installation that never even occured.Morons

Directv in Miami, Florida - Charged my aunts account of the final bill

My account number was 3524470177 (my home phone). My bills are sometimes paid through my aunt's account or my grandmothers account as one time payments. Direct tv posted an unauthorized final payment to my aunt's account which caused an over draft to her account. There is no dispute in the final bill just the way it was handled by Direct TV. I would hope your company would pay her the over draft fee for this unauthorized payment. It would be nice if Direct TV told the customer this would take place when the service was being disconnected. I have never disputed any bills or have no intention on not paying for the sevice, Also please note the the boxes are being sent back return receipt today or tomorrow. Directv in Austin, Texas - Direct tv debited 623 dollars from senior citizens account before any notice

Mar. 17 dtv shut the service off. The billing date was the 22nd. We paid by electronic check the required lost payment at that time. We lowered the package to 29.00 amonth for the next month but never got to pay. Direct tv had shut off. They then demanded the broken contract fees. of $347.47 cents but took $623.00. Ionly owed $96.00 at this time.We feel we don't owe for their mistakes.We tried to resolve these issues but spent fruitless hours of phone calls. Our bank is now disputing th e double charges and we are out the money unless we prove them wrong

Whenever I watch television I don't usually have problems. However, whenever I try watching lately my television has been lagging.

I don't know what the cause is but I will have to call my provider to see if they can help me.

It would be nice to call in with a problem without having to go through all the ***. When my direct tv isn't working, nobody's happy,, can't even watch local channels. We are watching a movie on CBS and the reciever goes out 10 minutes before the movie goes off. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FIX???????? OK they can fix it in a matter of minutes if you can ever talk to a real person. Then they give you a number to call within the next 5 days if it happens again. Well, it happens about every 2 weeks. There are other cable companys that would love to take my money.

I have thoughts of going Postal at their EL SEGUNDO offices.I have nonthing to loose with my heart cond! WATCH OUT DIRECT! They opperate a *** service with my TV blurting out loud noises with Pic loss at the same time. When I complained about it they informed me they were aware of the problems since Jan of 08 and they are working on it! YEAH RIGHT NOW IM STUCK with a contract$$ They threaten me with large dollar amounts if I cancel my agreement also I have to pay for all of the equipment such as the DVR and the Satellite Hi Def receiver!

i was and am being ripped off from the get go. never have i delt with a group so decietful and down rite liars! when i pin them down for a direct answer, i get the bad connection routine. it is a shame that poople like this dupe the customers, lying and deceiving just for the $. they have no ethics or moral value in their being, just $. all this started when i went to the direct tv office and they gave me their phone connected to an installer rep. the first snag came when i sent in the $50 voucher for myself and the person who recommended them. i was told it was not an authorized service center. since then the 'problems have snowballed, along with the price'. it is almost doubled the initial quote - with less channels.

Direct tv sold me a program for 44.98 a month, within two weeks I had a bill for 67.98 another saying I owe nothing because of an error and then another saying I owed 146.95. I canceled them after paying the first 67.98 and now have a bill for 477.94 that a total of 545.92 for 2 1/2 weeks of service. (they suck) do not get cought up with direct tv they will lie just to get you to sign up and then switch programs on you and over charge.what a racket they have going.

I never liked these guys because it seems they want nothing more to keep adding to your bill. I became aware that my picture was half size the other night during a ballgame on a special baseball package I purchased. This is on my wide screen TV. I called the 800 # and first the guy told me that I needed to buy additional HD coverage to get the games for $50 to get the full screen. Then, when the screen didn't increase, he said he'd have to set up a service call for me - which would cost $80 or if I wanted a year's plan -- $40 plus $6 per month thereafter. I talked to 2 people - one a sales guy and the other a tech guy. When the service guy came today, he said something about realigning the dish but it was a ruse! The problem was a button on the remote than I had apparently inadvertently pushed that made the picture smaller. The button was the format button. It had nothing to do with HD!!! Needless to say I was livid. The repair guy saw the situation and didn't charge me on his end. Then I had to spend a half hour with customer service on my end to explain and get the charges removed that were charged the previous night. If someone had trained these phone people to diagnose a simple problem with a button on the remote I wouldn't have to go through this!!!

All I really need is two words. You can probably guess what two. First word starts with F. They call my house and don't answer. What the *** is wrong with you. Interstate defends and tries to collect from very poor businesses like direct tv. I had a legitimate complaint with d-tv, when I called interstate their phone communication and professionalism was very poor. They treated me like a criminal. I feel like the guys on the other end are the criminals. All i have to say is where is my vaseline. Please ship asap. If anyone reads this please be careful doing business with these people. Exrtremely frustrated
