I called to just get a tech to come. First I was told it would cost 200 dollars finally got the person to understand ( non English speaking) that I had the protection plan.

Then was told it would be discounted charge. I asked for a supervisor which agreed it was free and couldn’t understand why I was being told otherwise then stayed on the phone another 30 minutes trying to get it scheduled. Never could. So not giving up I switched to chat online which didn’t help then another call and 2 plus hours later no appointment yet.

I’ve been with direct tv almost 20 years. Their customer service is beyond horrible.

The representatives you get don’t speak English. You get transferred all over the place and don’t forget about the stressful automated ordeal you have go through just to get a live person who you won’t understand and they won’t understand you.
