When the sky gets cloudy, our service is disrupted. This seems to happen at times when its not hardly stormy or cloudy. I recorded a show and we got 4 minutes of rain and it interfered with 30 mins of an hour show, I realize the atmosphere messes with the satellites...

I am done with Directv I've been a loyal customer since 2004 they will lie to get you to sign up and when you do it's a total different story. I left them to go to Dish Twice and they called me back and said they would leave my old balance to make payments in installments in which I agreed to do to sign back so I dropped dish to do so a month or so later I had that old balance of 700 dollars and they said I had to pay it all at once I mind you that I had already made an agreement with them to pay the current monthly bill and pay an extra 30 bucks towards the old bill.

I bought that up to them and they tell me that they don't see where there was an agreement to do that. My service was interrupted because I couldn't pay all of that money. I was originally suppose to pay 562.00 so I told them I would pay it the following week so the following week came and was about to pay it then they tell me that I have to pay 791.00. So from then on I just told them to cancel my service the following day I signed back up with dish.

I had to go a whole week with no cable or anything. I will never deal with them again. I feel like I was black balled after being a loyal customer for over 13 years! Never Again!

They really left a bad taste in my mouth because they lie to get you in. Only thing good about them is NFL Sunday Ticket. My in-laws stays next door and they have it every year I will just go over there and watch. That's good enough for me.

I would have my space there also in a back room Do NOT SIGN UP WITH DIRECTV THEY WILL BLACK BALL YOU!

THAT'S A PROMISE! TAKE IT FROM A CUSTOMER SINCE 2004!

I switched over because I was promised a two year low rate. at the end of the first year my price doubled. I have contacted them several times, speaking to several people including managers and have not been able to resolve anything. Each person I speak to gives me a different justification. All they say is, I understand that but the price is only for a year. Seriously! I am trying to tell them that is not what I signed up for. They refuse to work with me and basically gave me the run around. The representatives don't seem to have the knowledge required and misinform customers, and because of this we the customers end up paying for their mistakes!

Went into at&t store with advertising flyer in hand signed up for the bundle package 2 year price guarantee I was ask to sign there electronic device I thought I was signing to say I accepted the agreement as stated on the flyer I never saw or was offered a contract to review but I found out later they do have one on line or out in space somewhere that the customer never sees but direct tv says you agreed to even though you never knew it existed much less agreed to it I am having signal problems and not receiving all the channels I am paying for I was told by direct tv that is my problem and they would need to send someone out to see why there equipment is not working at a $99.00 charge to me my daughter lives next door and direct tv installed her dish the day after they installed mine she has very few trees around her house the installer chose to put her dish on her roof at my house I have a lot of big trees but the installer decided to install the dish on the ground beside the house so it seems they want to make me pay for the bad decision there installer made I have contacted Legal Foundry direct tv complaints for help they will take you case for free you have nothing to lose give them a try

Directv Service has gotten horrible (from a 20 year plus customer)

I have had Directv for over 20 years. Until they were merged with Att they had probably the best customer support around. At most I would call Directv one a year for an issue or problem and 95% of the time it was handled correctly. This year I have to date 3 issues. One over billing One tech (resolved because of the tech flexibility on helping me not because of Directv. Plus the tech is a independent contractor. And today. Because of high winds, my dish needs to be realingned. A one hour job at most. Plus I have been paying an additional service contract fee to them for over 10 years (every month). I called them and there answer was the first available was 1 week out. In the 20 years I have never had to wait even close to a week. When I asked to speak to the head guy, the tech manager said she can not give out his name. And that he wont talk to you because he is a "Busy" guy. Maybe I am old fashion in my beliefs, but if a customer on mine ever has a problem and they want to speak to me directly, I will take the call. As of now, I can not recommend anyone to go with Directv. I am also going to share this with Nextdoor .com, Yelp and anyother consumer hotline. They had their chance to do right but I guess they are "too busy" PS: Lets all thank the FCC for allowing this merger of Directv and ATT.

They lied to me every month my bill came in it was higher. I had to move Feb 2017, when I made the call to transfer services they told me I HAD to purchase a Gennie mini because I was moving and adding 1 more tv. I agreed to make the purchase. WHAT NO ONE TOLD ME was that because I was moving I was singing a brand new contract for another 2 years. That because I was moving I was loosing my 12 month discount ???????? That by moving my bill would go up twice as much as it use to be and now that I want to cancel my services I would have to pay a 436.00 cancelation fee EVEN THOUGH NO ONE TOLD ME I WAS SINGING A NEW CONTRACT JUST BECAUSE I HAD TO MOVE. *** DIRECT TV. ITS ON THE NEWS THAT 155 MILLION CUSTOMERS ARE UN HAPPY. THIS IS A *** SHAME.

The tech that installed the TV service told us we had 30 days to disconnect without any fees, that was a complete LIE. The programming is total ***, the service blips out during to smallest of storms, get internet TV Hulu Netflix, much easier to deal with. Now they want over $400 from us to disconnect. HBO and the premium movie channels are ***, not the real premium channels. The supervisor did go ahead and disconnect the service and wave the fee, he was VERY nice as well. In trying to understand why my bill was not bill with guarantee pricing the reps was very rude talking to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. No courtesy at all and her tone was very condescending.

My bill fluctuates and dish move numbers around to show that you get discounts but then increase the rate to offset it so you actually don't get any type of discounts. Dish also increase fees without notice and if I was not tied down to a contract I would have cancelled with dish right now.

I converted my wireless service to unlimited data at the beginning of the month of May( now I think about it. I converted at the end of April). Part of the promotion, it comes with free HBO. When I look at my DirectTV today, my bill increased because HBO charge. I contacted DirectTV on the chat room. The associate told me that they have to charge me 1-2billing cycles before it is free, which was why they put HBO service on my bill. I don't understand why I have to pay for my HBO service now.

Directv - Billing

DirectTV (AT&T) billing is deceptive. Customer service rep agreed that there was a mistake in my bill. Said he could not make any adjustments to existing bill but said the I would receive a $50.13 credit on my next bill. WRONG. Not only was there not a credit, the bill actually went up. Of course when I called there was no record of the credit. Also I lowered my level of TV service to lower the bill. That change was immediate, but the next bill did NOT reflect the change. I have spent hours on the phone with no satisfaction. Hopefully I can change service and find another provider that is not as criminal. DirectTV: not only do you get storm interruptions but you get over changed. What a service concept!!!

Directv - Improper installation that could damage to my tvs

I had a lightening damage to three of my tvs. I contacted direct tv on 4 occasions and was given the round around about my service and trying to speak with a supervisor. I found out that the damage was caused due to improper installation. No ground rod was ever installed to protect the televisions and I have pictures of the faulty installation. I called several times and was put on hold. Once told a supervisor would call back in two minutes. Never received the call. Called back again, the rep. Kept me on the phone waiting for a supervisor to answer. Never answered the second time. I am cancelling my service and connecting my lawyer.
