Cannot talk to a HUMAN

Our receiver shuts down and reboots itself. This has been going on now for 2 days and it is impossible to get through to satellite customer support. The only people who answer work for streaming support. They tell you they will transfer you to the right place but you end up on hold forever. Last night I was on hold for so long that my phone ran out of battery. We have been DirecTV customers for 25 years.

I wanted YouTube TV, instead they hooked me up to direct TV which is horrible. After this free trial I'll be looking again. This time on my own. Never again Direct TV or Hulu+. Thanks for the worst experience from cable TV ever.

User's recommendation: Find your own cable. No suggestions. You never know what your going to get. Always do a free trial first to see if you like it. Cable has went to *** Cost to much for all the trouble you have to go through.

My remotes are not functioning

My remotes cannot change channels. Every number for direct tv sent me to new customer service and then disconnected. Are there any repairmen in existence? I even threatened to discontinue my current account and open a new account and was told it would also cancel my phone since it is bundled and all three numbers would be disconnected. All I need are new remotes!

Wanted a new remote. I was told that I didn't have the protection plan. I pay 8.99 a month for it. I had to pay 15.$ and received a generic remote..not a real direct tv remote. I want my 15 dollars back and a remote control like my others.

I have literally been threw the worst experience of my life with Direct TV. A man came to my house and told me he had a promotion. He told me my cable bill would remain 86 dollars and my phone bill would be 100 dollars. Have not seen this since I had this phone. I'm very disappointed and about to find a new company.do

Incorrect Bill

Hello

My name is Madeline Wright (Account number 655****). I was a Direct TV customer in the past.

Someone from your department contacted me and offered me a promotion to return to Direct TV earlier this year (May 2021). I was promised a promotion with a bill of 80 dollars plus tax. After my service was connected this year, my bills were over 100 dollars and out of my budget. This was not the rate and promotion that I was offered.

I contacted customer care multiple times to inform them about this issue. I finally spoke to a representative on Aug 7,2021 as was offered to disconnect my service due to the miscommunication and mix up on my bill. I was instructed to return all of my equipment and my early termination fees would be waived.

I returned the equipment, per request. Please see the attached postage confirmation.

However, I have received a bill from Direct TV in the amount of $706.20 (charging me the early termination fee and the equipment). I have never been so frustrated in my life. I will never return to ATT or Direct TV. As of right now, I want a supervisor to look into my account.

I would like a follow up on this ASAP. I am very upset and want this account corrected today. Your company should not be taking advantage of people like this.

I will send this letter to every email listed for customer complaints and disputes until I get someone on the line to help me with this issue.

Again, I am very disappointed with your company, this issue needs attention ASAP. I have tried to contact customer service without a resolution.

Worst Christmas movies ever. I’m disabled and I have always enjoyed Christmas movies. This is the worst year ever. I love old and new Christmas movies. Runt my whole Christmas. I love watching while

I like watching while cooking Christmas dinner. My whole holiday has been runt. All I could think was you wanted me to rent or buy, well you just lost a customer. Id rather buy the old cd than pay for something I dont like. Terrible its all about greed. Repeats after repeats. Everyone Ive talked with hated hated hated.

Program guide

Why cant you get your program guide to coordinate with what you are actually showing on TV. Theres not crap worth watching these days, but the few shows that are any good you screw up. It makes me come real close to just ditching the whole mess.

"H+I" (29), a channel I watch a lot, has suddenly changed to some other channel with a marathon sitcom which I hate, so I went to the DirecTV site to find out whether I could find H+I on another channel number and to let them know I still want to watch it. Channel Guides in plethora had no channels listed under 100, so I tried chat. The chat was frustrating (as in other complaints) so when it asked if I wanted to talk to an agent, I said yes. It told me: All of our agents have gone home for the day. AGENT HOURS Monday to Sunday 6am - MIDNIGHT CENTRAL TIME TIME (of chat): 8:10 PM (Mountain = 9:10PM Central)

  • No service when there is a storm within fourty miles
  • Automated chat is stupid and frustrating

Preferred solution: Better customer service; don't tell me they're not available when their hours are 6-12midnight CT and it's only 8P MT; put up an explanation easy to find on your site when a channel is suddenly yanked
