User's recommendation: Find your own cable. No suggestions. You never know what your going to get. Always do a free trial first to see if you like it. Cable has went to *** Cost to much for all the trouble you have to go through.

Incorrect Bill

My name is Madeline Wright (Account number 655****). I was a Direct TV customer in the past.
Someone from your department contacted me and offered me a promotion to return to Direct TV earlier this year (May 2021). I was promised a promotion with a bill of 80 dollars plus tax. After my service was connected this year, my bills were over 100 dollars and out of my budget. This was not the rate and promotion that I was offered.
I contacted customer care multiple times to inform them about this issue. I finally spoke to a representative on Aug 7,2021 as was offered to disconnect my service due to the miscommunication and mix up on my bill. I was instructed to return all of my equipment and my early termination fees would be waived.
I returned the equipment, per request. Please see the attached postage confirmation.
However, I have received a bill from Direct TV in the amount of $706.20 (charging me the early termination fee and the equipment). I have never been so frustrated in my life. I will never return to ATT or Direct TV. As of right now, I want a supervisor to look into my account.
I would like a follow up on this ASAP. I am very upset and want this account corrected today. Your company should not be taking advantage of people like this.
I will send this letter to every email listed for customer complaints and disputes until I get someone on the line to help me with this issue.
Again, I am very disappointed with your company, this issue needs attention ASAP. I have tried to contact customer service without a resolution.

Lousy customer service; sudden change in lineup with no explanation
- Many channels i like to watch
- No human customer service during customer service hours
- No service when there is a storm within fourty miles
- Automated chat is stupid and frustrating
Preferred solution: Better customer service; don't tell me they're not available when their hours are 6-12midnight CT and it's only 8P MT; put up an explanation easy to find on your site when a channel is suddenly yanked
