In January switched to DTV bought bundle in COSTCO - Salesman stated equipment was 4k ready. Bought a 4k tv at the same time. When the DTV installer arrived he stated all equipment was 4k ready.
Went to watch the olympics on 4k switched over to channel 106 - service states no channel available. Called DTV they stated "at the time your equipment was 4k ready but - a week after you had your equipment installed we switched over to a new Genie box to support 4k tv better, so in order to receive 4k tv now you have to purchase a 4k genie at the cost of $299"...
Lied about equipment, lied about service, trying to steal $299 from me now.
I will call Costco concierge today and try and figure it all out ...
