I have been trying to talk to Direct TV for several months. No one understands my problem and when I think they do and set up an appointment to meet with a technician I get ATT sent to my house. ATT knows nothing about the issues Im talking about and they give me a number so that I can call again. Im ready to drop Direct TV after all these years an go with Dish or CB omcast.

On December 3rd 2020 I call the automated payment to pay my bill ... the automated service said I owed 37.00 total no charges, no fees , nothing else was due as of that date!!! Less that three weeks I get a message saying I now owe 284. 00 ??? No way!! I called in person talked to a representative and got no where.. telling me I owed 115.00 bill plus all these charges and fees amounting to 284.00 *** ... needless to say come October 2021 Ill be going back to time Warner cable!!!

Receiving email indicating new access card to be activated

I received a FedEx package last week with a new access card. Didn't indicate what receiver needing activation. I had to call and was told I have to upgrade my equipment to HD or I will lose service. Free they say. Being told they are eliminating SD equipment. Just received a email saying they would be sending me a new access card to activate. What is going on? Is this really Directv? I was yelled at, talked down to, intimidated, lied to. I was told I had to give them a new access id number, I told them I had one already, they asked for security questions which were the stupendous questions ever. What should I do?

Missing channels

Stay patient they say well it has been over a week and Denver channels 9 and 20 still aren't on. My patience is running short. Will these channels ever come back? I am getting charged for these 2channels and not getting them and I want them back. What in the world is going on? When is it ever enough? I want Lawman put back on Western channel at 5:00pm cst like it used to be,OK?

Lawman was taken off the channel.I look forward to watching it everyday,do one less Death Valley Days and just do it.

On demand is awful!!

Can't fast-forward and am often subjected to the liberal "public service" ads that encourage views not everyone agrees with. I don't appreciate being held captive to their opinions and having agendas pushed in my face!. Usually, if something is recorded and I find out it's On Demand I cancel the recording! I've had it with their nonsense and will be looking for another service.

Called because we are not receiving channels as promised. They can't promise anything but will give a $20 credit to shut you up. I asked for customer retention, and I was put on hold and then cut off. This is all after I receive a letter in the mail for a price increase. I have been a loyal customer at 2 different locations for 20 plus years. Direct TV has turned to crap since ATT bought them. ATT has absolutely no idea what customer service is and they don't care. Its impossible to reach them. Too Big!!!!

I canceled Direct tv

I was with Direct TV for about 14 years. About every 3 months or, so I got a rate increase or notification that my rate was going up. my wife or I would call and get some explanation that didn't make sense, and they would give some of it back. Later it got out of hand and what started out around $100.00 a month ended up over $200.00 a month. I canceled in June 2020 we moved and after paying final bill in July I got another bill on October 24, saying I owed them 1cent, I called customer service and was passed around to 3 different people none whom could explain it. Who does their billing it will cost them more to process the1cent check than the paper for the billing? I will never go back to Direct TV and now I'm looking into changing cell phone carriers and getting rid of AT&T all together

Horrible customer service

Ive spent weeks trying to resolve my HBO Max situation of not being able to log into the app I downloaded on my IPad. I have currently been put on hold and the wait time is nearing 2 hours on hold and still nothing. Ive been lied to, passed off to people who are clueless, and no resolution in site. Its clear they dont care about their customers. I think Im going to take Comcast up on their offer to have cable TV installed instead of satellite because Direct TV are a bunch of frauds.

No not solved. DirecTV /ATT is giving us the run around. Seems like they don't want to put it on a pole and I don't want it attached to my house.

Failed on commitments

We scheduled an install. Got email installer 15 min out. 2 hrs later we called to find they had canceled without notice. Called customer support who complained about their own company but offered 0 help. Couldnt tell us why the tech didnt come despite notice and then said their software doesnt let them help schedule. Very sad they dont care about customers.
