Requested installation and serviceman refused to install satellite

Good Morning: I requested directtv installation on December 14, 2020. The serviceman arrived at my home as scheduled and proceeded to tell me that he could not install the satellite because there was not a clear sw view, the trees would obstruct the satellite from operating efficiently. We had directtv for 14 years until 16 months ago when we switched to Dish Network. The satellite has remained in the exact same location. Our only alternative was to cut down our trees or put up a pole to achieve directtv. After the serviceman left, I contacted Dish Network and they had me go through a series of tests. We have a very strong signal and nothing is obstructing our view. Im very disappointed that we had to cancel our installation since I would prefer to have directtv rather than Dish but Im not removing our trees or putting a pole up in the middle of my garden. I dont know if the installer had an accurate description of our view or if it was just to cold and snowy to work outside and install a new satellite. Local channel has been shut off.

Local channel was removed from DIRECTV due to contract issues. Thats the channel we watch 95% of the time. Tried calling customer service but never got anybody.Purchased an HD antenna today ready to pull the plug with DIRECTV And save myself a bunch of money.

Waiting on return boxes

I am waiting patiently for the return boxes that you promised me. I have had your equipment ready to ship back to you for over a month and a half. I have paid the final bill, so please do not charge me for the equipment since it is your fault you do not have it yet. Please be aware that I will charge a $500 fee for the return of my payment if you charge my card since i am not at fault.

The people you have are not very helpful. We have HBO. I'm trying to find out how I can watch HBO MAX. I WATCHED the FLIGHT Attendant and do not know how to get it 9n my TV finish. It shouldn't be so hard to discover the answers. I also wanted to know where the times for the programs are listed?

Cancellation

Called to cancell, they wont send me boxes. Called again said I would keep the equipment , which I dont need. Asked for my account number said it was on my billing, which I have it bundles and it not on the billing. They keep transferring me to one department to another. I never get a right answer and get the run around.

CBS Removed

We pay hundreds of dollars a month for Directv service and now we cant even get the local CBS affiliate. I complained about this through Pissedoffconsumer but Directv didnt bother to respond. I dont want to hear its somebody elses fault, though. I want them to solve the problem. Before the NFL playoffs would be a good idea.

I have been with Direct TV. For over 5 years. In the last 8 months not sure what the changes are. Even b4 covid the customer care has went down. When there is a issue you won't be able to have someone call for an appointment until 72 hours. My guess is when it will be working again. Or when they will be out to fix it. I am not an inpatient person. But a call to see when an appointment can be made after 72 hours. REALLY !!!!
