I'm very upset that directv has allowed to have CBS off the air for a month now. I have had to watch all the shows on my tablet and they only gave me a 10 dollar credit and called back and they comp me any more credits about CBS being off the air. I missed three preseason charger game and there customer service was not very informative in giving me an answer when the channel was going to up and running again. I signed a contract in promise that directv provides us with every channel that I pay for and they have broken that promise and now for a month I have been without CBS and I have missed sports and tv shows and it has sucked a lot and made me very mad. Please fix this problem ASAP it bad business. I want another credit it's wrong u don't take care of your customers.

My God your the 1st person I have seen on here who gets it cheers mate, cheers my faith in humanity is renewed , before you ask no I'm not being sarcastic I really am happy to see at least 1 person out there gets it I work for DirecTV and have had to deal with tons of people who are mad at me because of this. One other thing if you have a high definition DVR you can call and get a device called the AM21 over the air receiver that will feed the Free channels into your system won't know the difference

I too am totally disgruntled at the lack of ability to resolve this issue. I have been with Direct TV for 5 years and had just signed a new 2 year agreement 2 days before this happened. I believe this should have been disclosed and I am ready to dispute my contract after 2 weeks of losing my favorite channel. Nobody seems to care about the consumer, both sides are just pointing fingers and not giving any concrete information about when and if it will be resolved. Disgusted with both sides - please resolve it now or both will lose my loyalty.

You can dispute the agreement if you want but it will fail section 3 states that programming can be changed based on business needs. In short game over

No channel 8, AT&T buy your sneaky *** for $48.5 billion. You can't do that get people in contract for two years then play games with local channels. What do think what's going to happen when our contract is up. Gone, Gone, Gone. We will watch your profits and stock value drop like *** in a toilet. F' you very much Went from number 1 to bull s' How do you think people going to say good things about this company. We loose the local channel then you sue the company, Can't sue them before they block the *** channel. $140 a month can't get local channel. Have to to Walmart and get $50 antenna with a d code box. Neighbors looking at me funny, asking me to come over and watch the local game.

Look my friend, it is not DirecTV taking away your local channel you are right to be mad buy the people whom you should be mad at the is the company that owns channel 8 let me explain

1. DirecTVs contract with the provider ends

Local provider says to keep us on DirecTV you need to pay us 110% more then you where, now DirecTV has a choice raise everyone's bill or wait until they are willing to take a reasonable price for the signal that they already give away for free

3. I completely agree with DirecTV on this you tell me why I should pay more in Denver so someone in California or Utah can get their local channel

Call the local provider and vent to them THEY PULLED THE PLUG (sorry about the caps but I wanted to make a point) the local provider did this to make YOU feel the pain and get the "sheepole" to blame DirecTV if the provider would allow it DirecTV could turn it back on in 20 minutes express your anger at the right people the local provider once again 110% increase for something that they already give for free if you have an antenna

You can scream lawsuits until they find Jimmy Hoffa but the agreement YOU signed states that channel packages can change based on business needs(see section 3 of your agreement), if you have a HD DVR you can call DirecTV and ask for an am21 over the air receiver. And connect a small antenna to it and it will feed it in to your system and you will notice no different except you will get a few more channels

You ignorant mental midgets pushed around the wrong person. I'm a savvy individual that was driven to insanity because everybody that works there is a little slow.

I have had Directv for 30 days now. Every week for the past 3 weeks I have gotten an email from Directv saying that my account has been unbundled with verizon. I have called Directv and they tell me to call Verizon. When I call verizon they tell me to call Directv. When I finaly call both of them at the same time Diectv simply says they cant help me since it's verizon's fault. Verizon said the same thing. What. The. ***. All directv can do is "check the notes". I told them I want out of the contract since I've only been with them for 30 days. They said their cancellation policy is a 24 HOUR notice. I didn't even get the dish for 3 days after I called. HOW WOULD I KNOW IF I DO OR DO NOT LIKE A SERVICE I HAVE YET TO HAVE?? I am fed up. I call them every week about my service and they get nothing done, except type more pointless notes.
