Worst company I have ever had in nearly thirty years. Loss of reception with every little bit of rain after claiming in their sales pitch 98% reception rate. LIES.!# DO NOT even consider this joke of a company. You'll regret it! You're better off with a set of rabbit ears. You'll get more dependable reception!

Direct tv likes to quote you one price over the phone then send you a bill much higher...when you call to dispute it they supposedly have no way of listening to what you were offered and say sorry we can't honor the price we told you....the contract apparently is only for them not your protection....and I was a "valued customer"....

Well you if this started 08/23/2015 there is time to still stop it but if you over paid sounds like the people that you have been talking to where too lazy to fill out the form, call them up demand they fill out form ID-10T it is the form for dispute with payments this will launch a massive review but takes reps forever to complete

0n or about 07-25-15 I paid my bill at grocers 1:88 this was over paid 65.00,this mistake was discovered two days later contact was made to direct TV . a request for my over payment at that first try I was told it would take three to five days to receive my money ,I called again and was advised the process would take ten days I called back on 08-09-15 now I was told my account was given a credit of 65,00 direct TV do not refund anything under 100,00 this was new information was new to me again I requested a supervisor again no one called me back customer over three tys

Does not honor Contract set up by Salemen | Directv review from Maple Heights, Ohio

You put these salesmen out to make a sale by lying to you. They tell you that your service will cost a certain amount and then when you get you bill it is not what they told you and they don't let you out of the contract. I was not told I had to do automatic billing to get one of the deductions and the referral was not honored so I didnt get another decuction. When I can get out of this I will. I am looking for Call for Action to help me out of this. My bill is just as high as when I was with my other company.

Call them up, tell them to fill out form ID-10t release from contact because of pricing dispute, make you you tell them that form by name it will start a high level investigation that 95% of the time is released from the agreement

.we called and told them we were moving direct tv sent boxes to senf equipment back. we returned equipment and moved in june to fl from ny. a year later we got a letter from collections saying we owed for the month of july. called customer service they said we never told them to shut off the service. how do they figure that when they sent return boxes and addmitted they got the equipment back. after multiple calls to customer svc reps with indian accents they told us they would take care of it. some time later once again we were put into collections.fed up I payed the bill. to this date I have told as many people that would listen what happened to me. you beat me for 90 bucks and agrravated me to the point that i will never stop hope I cost direct tv thousands

Contract buy out expensive. Was cutting cord. Asked for them to reduce price in box rental. They refused. So i left. Now i get mail every week offering me the world.considered buying their on line steaming package for the NFL. Entered zip code and did not quslify for that. I never missed a monthly payment so i was good customer. Too bad they arent what they portray

I called to have my service disconnected due to a short notice move to care for a very ill family member. Its bad enough they tell me I have to pay a $220 disconnect fee but instead of getting forwarding address the rep was too busy trying to get me to continue my services at my new location. I explained to him I was moving in with a terminally ill family member and wouldn't need to transfer my service and his response was "why dont you talk to them and see if they would be interested in switching to Direct TV and we could throw in the NFL ticket for free." Really? I'm sure my dying mother cares about the NFL ticket. Talk about great customer service! Can you just disconnect my service and send my final bill to my forwarding address please. But it gets worse...about an hour later another rep from the company calls me and asks why I am disconnecting my service. When I explain the situation again she says the same thing to me about transferring the serviceinus the NFL ticket. What part of this conversation are they not understanding? Im sure a dying person isnt concerned about switching cable providers. Direct TV just lost my business forever!
