I ordered the mlb package and was told i fan watch the dogers games on the other teams broadcast and the first time i tried to watch a game it was blackedout when i called i was told that local games are blacked out beacause i could buy a ticket and go to the game thats *** and i waited 35 min on hold so they could cancel it im disappointed with direct tv

Directv in Lake Worth, Florida - Direct TV is a fraud

We switched from Cable to Direct TV after being told that the service was identical. In fact, the On Demand content, which we use always, is nowhere the same. You cannot see any shows that were on live TV or Premium channels for months. We used to be able to see the Sunday HBO shows the following night. On Direct TV you'll never see them. It is a complete scam, and they want you to pay $500 to get out of an agreement that was falsely promoted. When we called Direct TV a week after it was installed, they told us that On Demand was streamed directly from the channel, and they had no control over it- just like the cable companies. So for a while we thought that Verizon had changed its On Demand offerings. We then visited a friend with cable, and they had all the On Demand selection we used to have. Beware Direct TV.

There is no fraud just a different type of service get used to it or don't make no difference to dtv it is a free service also don't need to lie about the fees it's only $440 to cancel early if and if you choose that option they will be happy to take your money and yes you did authorized then to take the money out of your account so let's not see you crying they stole my money read the agreement you signed

If you talk to direct tv operators you better record the conversion with the person name and person in charges name and employee numbers They will not back up what they tell you on the phone They say anything make you happy until you get next month bill They don't have any of your changes or comments on your file but play it back to them They seem to remember a little more

Take that up with the FCC its based on zip code where your locale come from not direct if you don't like that too bad let me guess because of this you should be let out of your agreement without any fees and ever penny paid to DirecTV returned good luck

This company is full of it. They lie just to get your business but everything they tell you is false. Whatever you do avoid at all costs! They originally told me I can transfer my service from one apt to another (less then 3 miles away) for $20. Which is why I signed up with them. Then six months after I sign up and try to transfer they want to charge a $500 service fee. No document was ever signed or exchanged on this. They say six months ago is different than today. Avoid Direct TV at ALL costs! LYING PIECES OF ____ THEY WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING JUST

I see no problem here, at the time gas was 2.35 now its 3.15 it sucks I'll bet they can take $10/$20 off the move if you ask nicely

Directv - Installation Review from Austin, Texas

2 week finally a guy comes out asks me a series of questions decides he does not have enough info to finish the job or begin I get his number find out what he needs to do and he never returned. It was a sime change of address. Dtv a good service but poor execution on the part of the tech and customer care getting anything right as far as my address once the got that right they needed directions then they lost track of the apt. #!! Really? After that I got better at downloading programs online such as Netflix... Debating on whether to reinstate dtv as I lost patience with them or not? Thoughts? Solutions

Dish actually has the best customer service according to many sources. I would try to find a local dish authorized retailer. They try to help you figure out any issues without pressing any numbers before getting a person.

Directv in Mebane, North Carolina - Poor quality, too high priced, useless customer service..........

In December 2015 we contacted customer service to discontinue service due to my husband's open heart surgery in late November. In December he was unable to continue to work, and filed for early retirement, and with my small earnings we have a minimal income. We supposedly worked out a payment arrangement for the $300.00 early cancellation penalty. on 5/7/15 $66.55, and again on 5/8/15 another $133.61 was stolen from our bank account. When we explained this caused a negative in our account, and now other payments will be bouncing, their reaction was it is OUR problem, not DirectTV's. Today they said they will NOT do a payment arrangement, and they will continue to steal money from our account.

5 yr. Premier customer. New hd tv they won't let you upgrade 1 box to hd without it counting as your one 24 month upgrade so this would mean no genie upgrade for all tv s in july. That's it. My eyes hurt from watching the picture that looks slightly fuzzy. Don't watch my tv or time to change to dish.
