Why is my bill something different than the paper pill when I Call tp pay it They I call and they say theyd have not even got the payment it has at this point already beentaken out of bank and Laura the oriental girl is aweful as is Brianna Call this company just makes me crazy The last go round my husband gave them permission to talk for him. They stink big time they make about 7 dollars extra month scamming people not to wonder why the ceo makes 32 million a year

I signed up with Direct Tv in June 2014, I asked before I signed up if they charge a moving fee because we would not be at our current place very long. They told me they would move it all over when I was ready at no charge. We moved an hour and a half from our previous location in August and when I called to have my service moved to our new location they told me they would move my service for 500 dollars. I asked if they were joking because I was told when I signed up there was no moving fee. They told me I was told incorrectly and they would make it 150 because I was lied to and I explained this was still not free. The women I talked to said they would throw in another box for my kids room at no charge if I pay the moving fee, I did not like it but I felt they were trying to help so I said OK. When the guy came out to adjust my satellite on the roof of my new home I asked about my new box and he said he was not told I was getting a new box besides what I already had. He said he would call and ask then I was told yeah I can get one if I paid 100 dollars for it, so I was lied to again and did not receive my extra box. When he was done he told me "oh by the way did they tell me I was losing 70 channels including all of my locals". I asked why and explained that this was the first I had heard of this, he said that Direct TV and the county I live in could not come to an agreement with the FCC on the locals. I called to try and work out what the problem was and I was told there was nothing that could be done and I said I wanted to cancel because the locals were very important plus I was still paying the same minus the 70 channels I lost. The lady I spoke with was very rude and told me I can't just cancel or I would be charged a early termination fee, I explained that not only was I lied to and made a fool twice but now I have lost channels over an issue Direct TV had and I wanted out due to their breach of contract. They were not providing the service I had signed up for and by definition they were not keeping up with there end. They canceled my service and sent me a bill for over 600 dollars, when I tried to explain what had happened they were very rude and told me to pay or else. I was very up set and told them they would not get a dime from me because I canceled due to issues they were the cause of. About a month later I had noticed two pending charges for Direct TV and they were totaling the 600 from the bill! I asked my wife if she had paid them and she said no, I found out these were charges Direct TV took upon themselves to take out of my account without my consent. I tried to call them and find out why and how they were able to get my credit card number to charge but they were so UN GODLY RUDE nothing was accomplished with them. The customer service at Direct TV are some of the rudest people I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with and I will tell every person I know what has happened and just how awful Direct TV really is! Not only have they lost my buisness for the future but they will lose as many as it takes so Direct TV knows they need a major over haul in the customer service area!

Directv in Foresthill, California - Installation

We ordered Direct tv and our install date was 10-31-2014. This boy drives up my driveway comes immediatly to my door and says he cant install the dish because I have trees. I asked to him at least try to see if his meter would pick up a clear southern signal. He refused so I asked him to call his supervisor as we were scheduled for the install and he did not even try. He said his cell phone was not receiving a signal and he would go down to the road and call and be right back. The kid just left.... a supervisor was supposed to come out within 72 hours - he never showed. We called again they gave us another 72 hour window and nobody came or contacted us. Out of shear frustration I called Dish - they came out and installed our dish no problem. I was a customer for 30 years, 30 years and they threw me away as the kid did not want to work that day. The customer service was a huge run around, 3 different supervisors were going to watch our escalated calls to make sure someone came out. Nobody ever came, nobody ever contacted us. I called to complain and again was given the run around - went from customer service to sales to customer service and back to sales only to hear if I wanted to make a complaint I had to do it online. I do not understand how Direct tv could even be in business for 30 years with incompetent employees and policies. I am told the VP will see my complaint, not going to hold my breath on that one.

Directv in Atlanta, Georgia - Bait and switch

Ordered 4 recievers because that is what i needed, they quoted a price. The install tech said his paper work showed i had only ordered one so we had to speak to a supervisor and i had to pay more than quoted to get service. No way i would have ordered one reciever and i'm positive i ordered four. Tech said it happens on almost every job or at a minimum every other job, bait and switch, it's a planned deception. Recieved surveys after install gave great reviews on the tech , gave the company a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10 and stated i would not recommend Direct TV, think someone has called , well of coarse not.

Direct tv is TERRIBLE! Every month my bill is for a different amount...always increasing! I spend an hour at least every month on the phone with them trying to sort out my bill receiving horrible costumer service and each month I ask to not have any upgrades and each month yet again they sign me up for something I do want and my bill increases. I don't understand how they can get away with this. I finally cancelled my account today paying the outrageous cancellation fee but I am happy I will NEVER deal with Direct TV again.

okay so ive had my service since september of last year. not too long but long enough. well around mid may i went on a deployment and i thought my bills were being taken care of. as it turned out it was all but one. my directv bill. well i got home late october and got some r&r. when i returned back to my house i was a little upset to see that my bills were piled up and a return box was there. i called directv and spoke to a representative. i explained my situation and asked about how much it would be to reactivate my account. i wastold it would be around $275. fine. i told the representative that i wanted to reactivate but it would be a fewweeks before i could make that payment. he told me he understood and i assumed all was well. well about a week later i looked at my bank account and seen that $500 dollars was missing. come to find out directv had taken it and not even given me any kind of heads up or notification or anything. i called and spoke to another representative. again i explained my situation this time with the trouble ofthis event now looming. to save on time we spoke and i told her that i was still planning on keeping my account but i simply couldnt at the time. that i needed the money that was taken and i had to have it back. she assured me thateverything would be okay andshe would expedite the refunding policy. okay fine. i can wait a couple days. now today i come to find out that not even half of what was taken would be given back to me. this was moneyi needed to use for my family. for christmas. for f*#king repairs on our car! Directv, i use to hold you up with respect as far as tv entertainment is concerned but after this *** you pulled i will let everyone i talk to about you hear thisand how you are gonna shaft anyone you can. no need to continue this. needless to say i cancelled my account immediately. good riddance ya bastards!

I cancelled direct T.V Aug.19th. In June i asked to reduce my package. 39.99. They reduced my channels not my bill. I told them to come get equipment and last payment 44.00 thats what it should be not 89.99. Well they took out sept oct payment 188.86 without my permission.

You can't be serious !!! Why would you think you can demand to pay a lower price and still have the same services!!!!

If you have a luxury car with all the features you can't call your finance company and demand you only pay for a KIA bare bones model or your insurance company and demand lower price and not lower your coverage!

What world do you live in DTV still pays the network companies the same price they contracted why would you they would accomodate your demand would you want to keep a customer that you did not allow you to make a profit? Subscribe to what you can afford stop being a liability to the business world its degrading yourself have a little pride...

Directv in Cincinnati, Ohio - Terrible installation experience

Signed up through Costco in Cincinnati, and they were going to install yesterday between noon and 6. They even called afternoon the day before to confirm. At 3.30 yesterday, they (some woman) called and said they would be there around 6. Then at 6, the install guy called and said he was at Chillicothe, Ohio and wanted to come at 8. Then some time after that some woman called and said they weren’t sure when he could get here, and during the call, another woman called to say the same thing. They wanted to re-schedule. I said no unless they can give me a specific time, and not some time period. They said he could not make it till past 9.30 last night and after checking with some supervisor said that they cannot re-schedule for a definite time, only for another time period. I told them to " tear up the contract”. They told me to do that I have to speak to someone else. I told them to go to *** (not in those words but I should have). Never did they even apologize once for their screw-up.
