Directv - $10 movie money foe viewing 4 movies in Sept 2014

Purchased 4 movies but with their poor processing procedures not all 4 made the billing cycle so not getting my $10 credit. The advertisement said "watch 4 in the month of Sept", not watch 4 and hope our poor billing system can track movies actually watched in September. Last time I looked at a calendar September consists of days 1-30. However, their billing process can't pull the date movie was watched. They should not offer promotion that their system can't process. Direct TV must have consulted hired the same programming firm that Obama used for his famous health care system.

Directv in Las Vegas, Nevada - *** outages & service for a month now.....

We live in Las Vegas & for some reason this service goes out every single day with a "searching for signal" on the screen anywhere from a few minutes to 10hrs or better a day.. Been calling and its the same ole ish.. Restart, unplug, check the connections, wheres the satellite located, can you look for this or look for that. Just spent 45mins on the phone with these idiots and still nothing.. Takes a couple of days before a tech to come out. I'm ready to switch to someone else as of right now.... The customer service sucks.. horrible

AWFUL!! They are liars, thieves, ***, unprofessional, scam artists. When signing up they told me all the things i wanted to hear, i signed up for the 29.99 a month, now im somehow paying 70$ a month, they said there was no charge to move and when i called they wanted to charge me 200$. they are rude and unprofessional. Dont try to actually get anywhere with their customer service, they are a joke and they are idiots. they will transfer to you and *** you and you get no where, all while getting ripped off. When they came to install our service they sent someone that was from a 3rd party- the man not only showed up an hour after the time frame given, but he was trying to persuade us to reschedule, he clearly did not want to do his job, we told him no as it was our only day off and we had wasted all day waiting then he told us that he could not put it up because he was unequipped, he said he could put it on the roof but didnt bring a ladder so he couldnt and that we would have to reschedule, so we asked him to mount it on the side of the house, well he didnt bring a mount, so we told him to just put a pole in the ground and he said he didnt have concrete. So i asked him what exactly his plan was when he even came out because he was not prepared for any of the 3 options, although seeing as i am a female he wouldnt even look at me, wouldnt talk to me, any question i asked he would only answer to my boyfriend which i found EXTREMELY offensive, he told my boyfriend that he was going to make a call and talk to someone about rescheduling because that was our only option and that he would be right back to let us know what was going on, so he got in his van and left immediately. Then we get a call from direct tv and were asked why WE wanted to reschedule and i made it clear that it was not our fault and that they were unprepared for the job and thats why we had to reschedule, then they informed us that the tech guy had put it in the system that it was a CUSTOMER REQUEST FOR RESCHEDULING and got very rude with us and acted as if we were lying, so i asked to speak with a supervisor and was hung up on. I tried calling back just to get connected with a girl that was too caught up in her conversation with a coworker to stop laughing and talking to them while we were on the phone. Then we called again and they said they could not pull up our account at the time. So we called again and were told that the supervisor would call us in 15 minutes, that was at 6:30pm. After waiting until 8pm and not receiving a phone call we called back an were told that there was nothing they could do about it and that we would just have to wait to have installation. So we asked to speak with a supervisor and were hung up on. Called back again and talked to a man about the situation and all he kept saying was "mam i dont understand... mam i dont get what youre asking for..". All of their customer service reps are outsourced so you end up speaking to someone who cant understand a word youre saying and it gets you no where except on hold for 45 MINUTES. I am BEYOND unhappy with their disregard for their customers, their lack of professionalism, their *** and lies. They are THIEVES ! i called back today and was put on hold to talk to a supervisor for 20 minutes, well the supervisor wasnt excepting calls at the time so they said that it was noted in the computer and thats all they could do. after asking numerous times for a supervisor i was put on hold for a half hour and told that there was nothing they could do. needless to say this company a joke. i will be canceling my service when my contract is up because they are charging 400$ to cancel now. DONT SIGN UP! they will tell you anything you want to hear just to trap you

I had a slight not good experience with a tech that came out to install my Satilite today and he had a slight attitude and he complained like I was his flippin therapist and he was rushing to leave. Basically his energy was purely negative.

Directv - Tv Service Review

Husband deployed so we had to cancel everything. They told use the fee would be waived before we connected the service. When we cancel they took over $350.00 out our account. It has been over a month still no refund. Call everyday and every one has a different answer. Even though it was a mistake on direct tv part they don't care about there customers. Horrible horrible customers service. Would never recommend them to any one.

I was told by a customer service supervisor that we could not drop NFL Sunday ticket, even though we never asked for it; it was apparently given to us free at first, and then could not be taken off when the "season already started." I then spoke with someone in the moving dept. (because we were moving as well, and dropping down our budget was a necessity) and they took off NFL Sunday ticket for me and said they had never heard of such an issue. The customer service was apparently lying to me to get an extra $39.99. The customer service supervisor got rude with me and threatening when I said I wanted to drop Directv all together. This is quite the sneaky and underhanded way to treat customers by adding channels that were never approved when the customer signs up for services. I thought they were supposed to provide service in a way that would be convenient to us without causing us undue stress (it's television service for God's sake, shouldn't it be easy)? By the way, I used to work for Comcast and I DO know all the tricks, however I don't ever remember being so sneaky as to refuse to cancel unwanted services. Also thank you Linda in the moving dept. we were very satisfied with your assistance to our needs.

I had to drop direct tv because my bank account got hacked and had to pay early termination fee of 450.00 then I turned in equitment and they try to say I didn't and wanted to charged me for that.now they are saying that I owe them for five movies from four years ago.they just can't get it right.i ask them to send me a bill with the correct amount on it and I'll start paying on it and they said that would be my finale bill and I wouldn't get another one.Go figer.

I was a current costumer with Directv I originally signed a 2year contract unfortunately within my year I had to put my account on hold due to moving arrangements .where I recently moved doesn't allow state lite dishes I called and spoke with Directv about my situation they quoted my cancelation fee to be 240.00 in return that I ship all the equipment back. I received a bill of 407.88 . I called Directv with concerns with this outrageous bill they said I signed another contract for another 2year s. That' s crazy I respond ed how can I sign another 2 years if my first contract is on hold . they won't accept anything and won't budge on the 407.88 they still when ahead and are trying to remove it from my personal account without my authorization . It's horrible that this company can do this to people and try to get away with it. It is for most the worst cable company out there and wouldn't recommend it to no one !
