I was told by a customer service supervisor that we could not drop NFL Sunday ticket, even though we never asked for it; it was apparently given to us free at first, and then could not be taken off when the "season already started." I then spoke with someone in the moving dept. (because we were moving as well, and dropping down our budget was a necessity) and they took off NFL Sunday ticket for me and said they had never heard of such an issue. The customer service was apparently lying to me to get an extra $39.99. The customer service supervisor got rude with me and threatening when I said I wanted to drop Directv all together. This is quite the sneaky and underhanded way to treat customers by adding channels that were never approved when the customer signs up for services. I thought they were supposed to provide service in a way that would be convenient to us without causing us undue stress (it's television service for God's sake, shouldn't it be easy)? By the way, I used to work for Comcast and I DO know all the tricks, however I don't ever remember being so sneaky as to refuse to cancel unwanted services. Also thank you Linda in the moving dept. we were very satisfied with your assistance to our needs.

Directv - Account Review

I had to drop direct tv because my bank account got hacked and had to pay early termination fee of 450.00 then I turned in equitment and they try to say I didn't and wanted to charged me for that.now they are saying that I owe them for five movies from four years ago.they just can't get it right.i ask them to send me a bill with the correct amount on it and I'll start paying on it and they said that would be my finale bill and I wouldn't get another one.Go figer.

Directv - Cancelation fee

I was a current costumer with Directv I originally signed a 2year contract unfortunately within my year I had to put my account on hold due to moving arrangements .where I recently moved doesn't allow state lite dishes I called and spoke with Directv about my situation they quoted my cancelation fee to be 240.00 in return that I ship all the equipment back. I received a bill of 407.88 . I called Directv with concerns with this outrageous bill they said I signed another contract for another 2year s. That' s crazy I respond ed how can I sign another 2 years if my first contract is on hold . they won't accept anything and won't budge on the 407.88 they still when ahead and are trying to remove it from my personal account without my authorization . It's horrible that this company can do this to people and try to get away with it. It is for most the worst cable company out there and wouldn't recommend it to no one !

I absoluty hate Direct TV. They are constantly changing their billing. They add services I did not request and then bill me for them. They offer discounts for a while, but then double the bill. When I tried to change services, their reps all had a different story about the available services. The prices changed depending on who I talked to. Then they tell me I gsve to call them back in a month to change it. I am sick of calling them. I hate their horrible service and the constant bait and switch techniques. I can't cancel fadt enough. HORRIBLE COMPANY!

I was a direct TV customer for a year and unfortunately had to place my account on hold because I was in the process of relocating. Once I moved in I was informed the HOA had a contract with Comcast and there were no satellite dishes in the whole neighborhood. (Condos). I had no choice but to now cancel my direct TV account. This was a financial hit I was just going to have to take. ($240). My complaint is that to my surprise the bill now reflected a cancellation fee of $408!!! I of course called customer service right away and was told I was charged more because I had added another box to a TV in Dec 2013... I paid $200 for this installation. I was never informed making this addition would place me into a new contract! I am very upset and direct TV refuses to work with me!

I call in to directv and talk with a agency so I can pay my bill and they gave me a confirmation and about a week or to later they seen me a bill saying that my payment was reject and I know I pay the bill. So when I talk to a supervisor about this they told me how to dispute the payment and I did it and they now telling me that they didn't get it and I have to pay it again. *** no im not wont be dealing with directv again. And they not getting my money.

We are dealing with the samething but they are saying we haven't paid our bill for the last 4 months which is bull *** sorry for the foul language they interrupted our services and someone in there financial system is not putting in the system computer showing them that it's paid they have been calling my boyfriend saying and we have PROOF of 367.46 from the past 4 months which they owe us if they can't get there act together.....

Upgraded to the Genie whole house service. Shortly after, the HD receiver in the other room died and had to be replaced. Genie was installed by a live real person. I did the replacement receiver according to directions. All seemed ok. But when I tried to do the internet streaming thing (recording works ok) the screen said I had a connection of .78mbs. My wireless laptop said is was over 15mbs. Calling the 800directv number is a maze of mindless endless loops in my case. Maybe it works sometimes but in my experience usually not. So, tonight I finally had it and after several minutes negotiating automated responses I finally heard the voice of a real live girl. She spoke english which was a surprise. But wanted to make me crawl on the floor and mess with connections. Said I wanted a supervisor. Randy, the Supervisor said the next appt is 8 days out.

I have spent too much time fighting with direct TV! We left them and went to charter but they were worse so we had no other choice to go back to this case *** service! The Customer service people and especially the managers are a joke! They auto renewed the football Chanel's even though we made it very clear we did not want it and do not renew! We only were given the Chanel bag cause they screwed up our account in the first place. I HATE direct TV! And who the heck is the president spinless *** that runs this joke if a business!

Direct tv automatically added NFL Ticket to my account without my action to add. Now they claim I cannot remove. This is very poor business practice if not illegal. I strongly suggest customers not buy into Direct TV . Direct TV diverted me three times in customer service. I am still on hold 35 min later. Again, bad business practice.
