Again, yes AGAIN the misogynists at direct tv deliberately chose to not include the LPGA in the score guide. Add to that the stupidity of not including the Tour championship either. What is truly wrong with these people? YOU at direct tv need to have someone who is a REAL sports fan educate you about what the3 viewers want, not you. PAY ATTENTION!! You are charging for this so, where are the ones whose job it is to see to these things? Apparently you all are sleeping together. Where is the LPGA Evian MAJOR and the PGS Tour championship??!! Directv in Gold Canyon, Arizona - Menu very slow, freezing screens, pixilated screen

Called them a month’s go and told them that my menu would freeze for up to 2 minutes, said it was a problem with the older receiver I have and that to wait 1 month and I would be able to get the latest and greatest during my 2 year free upgrade. So, I called them after my online account said I was due a free upgrade, first person said it was a go but had to go thru tech support, I got xfer'd to them. They tell me this is a known problem and I HAVE the most current receiver, so they won't send out a technician or charge my hardware. I have been living with this for over 6 months. I am discussed with the difference in service from years ago to today. They used to care about their customers, now, like most US companies, it is the bottom line and the CEO's wages. Then, in 1 year, it will be run by AT&T, which will only make it worse. Time to start reading books and use Amazon & Netflix.

DirecTV DVR Virtually Unusable

I have had DirecTV for twenty years, back when you had to purchase a receiver from a third party. I upgraded to genie about a year ago and have had problems with it freezing intermittently since I have owned it. Another thing I noticed is that there is a much longer delay when changing channels compared to the older system I had. The most recent problem I have been having is that the DVR operations are sticking. For instance if I hit the rewind or forward button I can't stop it, I literally have to wait until the system catches up. This means I am constantly rewinding way past where I want to be, because the system does not respond for a while after the initial command. I called DirecTV and complained and was told by the representative that DirecTV engineers are well aware of the issue with the system and they are working on an software upload that might fix it. When I inquired what the estimated time to fix was, she informed that there was none at this time. Its been two weeks an ether has been no "fix" as my system is still malfunctioning. Additionally I was told that there is a new receiver out that does not have any issues, but she informed I was not eligible for that as an "upgrade" so I must wait until the software fix is for my system is created or i could buy the new receiver. I will not sit idle for an unspecified amount of time for the engineer to upload a software fix in the "middle of the night" as the rep explained. I will get management involved.

This issue was with" Satellite Direct" on the internet, not Direct TV. The issue has been resolved ,but would be hesitant to recommend to anyone.

Bought this package for $21.95 back in 2012. Advertised as a one time purchase. Had problems with the ALL SPORTS channel continuely and had back and forth communication with support. Now they say my licence has expired and I need to renew licence every three months for $19.95.There is no immediate on-line help and certainly no phone support. Takes at least 24 hours and possibly longer. I certainly will not take a chance again to give my credit card info. Save yourself some aggravation and time. Look somewere else.Hope it's not were TV is headed. Scam,scam and then some.

December 2013 I was shopping for new cable company mid-December a commercial appeared on TV with a special offer from Directv sign up for $24.99 a month. Installer was sent out to install the dish on my home, everything went well until the first Month in January my first bill arrived with charges that i was not aware of, when i signed up i needed a bundle package including internet services, after talking to customer services they explained to me they could only offer me TV services they did not have a contract with internet services in my area so i was without internet service for about 3 months since the offer was seemed so great that i cancelled my U-Verse account and what i received was only TV so i called U-Verse and added internet with them which cost me $29.99. About mid-March of 2014 each month i would be on the phone with billing disputing my charges at times i would be on the phone for 30 minutes or longer which stressed me out so much. I was promised a $5.00 discount and $10.00 discount if i referred a friend or family which i did at that time. It took billing and customer services 4 months to give me a credit that was due to me, which i finally noticed on my account in July 2014. I discussed it over with my fiancee to switch back to U-Verse TV & Internet which Directv could not provide me with and i requested a Bundle package when i sign up with them. I Finally cancelled Directv on 7/26/14 and without any permission from myself they ( Directv ) went into my account and debited my card $365.00 for a early cancellation fee which at that point was never discussed when i signed up. it caused my checking account to over draft 3 times and late fee's that cost me $37.50 for each over draft. How could you charge the customer $20.00 for each month for 24 month of service which i do not have any longer, the company are no better then street thug criminal that will rob you and take your money. How could you charge someone that large amount almost $400.00 for service that has been cancelled. I am going to report and send a letter of grievances to the local cable company in Hartford, ct. I am filing a report against Directv poor customer services and when you are trying to contact them by phone no one in the company knows what you are talking about. so stressed out how could a cable company is allowed to enter you checking account and withdraw $365.00 for a cancellation fee for service that i will not be receiving. Disgusted by their action i would of be better off be robbing in the train station at least i could i made a report with the local police department. Directv is a scam and they do not report ALL the terms and policy of their company. I want my money back its very unfair how this company gets away without feeling the stress from the customer that they just robbed blind

Read the fine print, and they have you agreeing to the contact recorded. You are stuck with the conditions of the contract

you should always cancel your bank card and get a new one with different account before cancelling directv,get your new card then close out that bank account.when Directv tries to collect this way they will have to go through legal ways to get thier money.Protect your money,once they get it,you will most likely have to fight them to get it back,

The advice I am giving you may not be legal as you signed up for service,it was in the contract,even if you claim you didnt sign you legally bound as once you started using service and paid a bill that is as good as a signatureDirectv are jerks,I will never do business with them ever again.

Directv - Took money from account with out permission

i called and told them i was cancelling my subscription and was told they were going to send me the packages to send back equipment and them at midnight they electronically took the money from my account without permission and left me owing over drafts and no money to buy my heart meds, direct tv i will do my very best to tell everyone i know not to purchase your products and anything else from you. you will have everything come back to you and when you do i expect you to bend over and take like everyone you did this to.

Hey mate, I'm not pissed at this company or anything I'm sympathetic about your situation and would like to, at the very least, (I know your circumstance very well) see if you have tried the 'bare neccesities' to quickly resolve your issue.

Try ringing your bank and disputing the transaction - If you do remain, as calm as possible. Be polite but enforce the fact that this transaction was out the direct debit/payment facilities schedule guidelines (e.g.

The monthly payment made to have there service) and you know the attendant told you it was free of charge to cancel (most banks will hold the money for a day or 2 so if you ring ASAP you should be able to put a stop to the transaction.

As a consumer, in any country (I'm not sure where you reside) you have rights.

If you're unsuccessful ring back the company (direct TV) and ask to listen to the recording for your conversation with the call center operator to confirm it was free. Then use that recording to get your money back!

I am a very unhappy DirecTV customer. A young lady came to my home and offered me this really great deal. Got DirecTV and found that the remote was the most difficult thing in the world to figure out. Then living in CT, i find out that I cannot get any Connecticut television stations. Two months later I called to complain and was told that they would adjust the fee (as the fee did go up) and get me a new quote unquote address so that I would be able to receive Connecticut news. Well, two months later nothing happened. No technician, no lowering of my bill and no Connecticut news. This time I called to cancel and I was told that it would run me $380 to cancel my service. That never happened with AT&T U-verse. As far as I can tell, this terrible service never happened with any other of my friends experiences with other cable TV providers. What makes DirecTV think that it's okay to scam the public with their unethical billing and servicing but also to leave that ugly dish where it was placed. What are we supposed to do with that? It's ugly, it's big and I think The reason why we are expected to pay such a huge cancellation fee is to cover the expenses of these dishes. I also think looking back at DirecTV's issues with telemarketing because they were fined millions of dollars that they're trying to recover monies that affected them with the telemarketing issue

Aside from having no answer to the freezing up /lock up/ black screen Direct TV customer service staff is abysmal. Their lack to explain the problem. Assure that it will be fixed and that we will be notified when it will be fixed Is inexcusable.

I get an email each year from Direct TV promising me their NFL Sunday package and 3 months of HBO and Cinemax FREE!!!! I called and was advised again this is only available for new customers.

I'm always disappointed as I've been a customer since 2002 (CO and GA) however that loyalty isn't rewarded.

Fix it yourself fatty pants, I'll come out there and tell you to reschedule cause I can and your stuck in a contract and that's the way management likes it, short and easy, pass the buck and onto the next one. You need to understand we care more about our bonuses then you and always will.
