Directv in Prescott, Arizona - Losing Stations

Switched from cable because of lousy service. Now Direct TV is taking stations away from their customers. We have lost News Mix, and now we may lose channel 12(NBC). What in the world are] they trying to do? I have been very satisfied with their service up till now. How can you honestly take these channels away from your customers, without compensating them for what they no longer get. This is going too far now, taking away a major channel as NBC. I know the deadline is at midnight, but why should us customers put up with this and not say anything.

bills are never consistent.always calling in to have it changed.they tell you 1 thing and the bill ends up another.i get 1 rep that says the bill will be 1 price and another rep saying we can't do that.they lock you in on a contract to screw with you.i got a answer of we provide service but not the price.it can change read the fine print.how can you when your on the phone signing up.this company is as bad as verizon wireless.dealing with these idiots is useless and you get nowhere

Direct TV has advertised a free upgrade to a Genie receiver. However, they neglect to tell their existing customers that it is a 300.00 charge. If it sounds to good to be true; don't believe it!! I would be happy to rent at a monthly rental fee, but 300.00 is outrageous for a TV receiver. Also, Direct TV customers are unable to connect to the Internet without purchasing their equipment to connect to a wireless Internet receiver. I did not have this disappointing experience with my previous TV Internet service. My advice to future customers is do your homework.

Directv in Crofton, Maryland - They offer you all of the channels but do not tell you that you may lose them later.

When you sign up with direct tv they offer you all of these channels but then when their contracts run out with them you lose the channels and are stuck with what they have. They SUCK!!! They offered to give me $10.00 back for losing one of my local stations. $10.00 for one month! But I would still have to pay the same price after that. How can that be fair? They are just a ripoff. They suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck suck, suck!

Company Direct TV Location Greeley, Colorado Category Cable Views 19 Settle your problem with Denver's KUSA NBC station!! DO NOT TAKE IT OFF!! That is the very BEST station for the news! It's ridiculous to take it off. You will lose an immense number of viewers without that station!I, for one, cannot understand how and why you can't resolve this situation. They have offered the same to the other carriers and hav had no problem - why to do? Get it together for goodness sake! Direct TV has enough problems withoout adding this to the list. Just trying to speak to a human being takes at least fifteen minutes and then, as with the last problem we had, you didn't fix the problem!! final amount of time on the phone was forty five minutes!! DirecTV- bunch of idiots

After being on hold for over 40 min, I was told by customer service that although an error was made by their installer I'd have to pay $50 to get a new installation guy out to fix the problem. This isn't my first nor my last problem I will have and unfortunately locked into another year with them. Cannot wait to get rid of DirecTV. I laugh every time I walk into costco and they have a DirecTV rep at the front door asking for people to join. I should have a petition to can them. Sincerely, Angry Customer

Actually, you can have a roll back for work completed incorrectly or not completed at all. There is a 30 day guarantee.

Call and ask yo cancel and see what happens.

If you only knew that the person that told you to pay 50 bucks for installation is only following scripts and orders stipulated by the company´s policy, maybe you could stop say that kind of bs

according to notification on WUSA you may no longer carry this station after midnight November 30,2012 , if this happens I will be forced to cancel my subscription with you . Since I do not know to say but I must have 100 words I shall just ramble to get my message across. When I signed up for this channel I would assume that my contract is not being fulfilled. I do noy know what else I can say except this is BS to have to use 100 words when the message could be gotten across just 30 or less etc

Directv in Erie, Pennsylvania - Removal of WUSA television programming

In a message on my television during local programming it mentioned that as of 12 midnight on November 30. Direct tv will not be showing local program's including football ,new, weather and sports. Not sure why this is going to happen, but if so, we may be forced to find another service for our cable television shows? Are you willing to lose a customer and possibly other customers if this was to happen?Please do not remove these program's or any other program's from Direct TV. Thank you very much.
