Directv in Chantilly, Virginia - Can not get HD at all

We can not get HD channels at all have to bring someone in. Every time there is a little rain the tv goes off. We don't get any reimbursement or credit for that. They have taken channels away and I see a lot more non english channels on it. I am not against that but do not take my channels away. The only reason we have it is my husband wanted the NFL or some sports channel that is not free. I told him to find something else. If we are not getting tv channels because of weather I feel we should at least get a credit.

Directv in Oakland, Florida - Losing 26 Channels (?)

I would like to know when we will be getting the 26 channels back that were recently dropped? If this is a permanent lose of channels than we need to have our contract and bill adjusted for this lose. I have been with Direct TV since 1999. This latest lose of channels does not make us happy. I am paying a high amount for satelite service and I do not feel that I am getting our money worth. Please resolve this issue immediately - either by bringing back the channels or adjusting our bill. I also feel a discount is necessary in the meantime. Treat your customers with respect..

I am a long time customer. I tried to get them to let me get a new contract like they have for new customers.

They said no.

If you ask what they will do for you about the loss of the channels they give you $10 off your bill for the next three months bills. I think thats kind of lame but it is somethimg.

Directv in Austin, Texas - Less Channels - Bill stays the Same?!!!!

I just don't get the justice in this. I had to sign a two year contract with Directv when I got my install and chose my package. Well my package has changed - NOT my choice!!!! Channels were taken away from the package that I want and have paid for!!! I want at least 26% of my bill reduced, because I lost at least 26 channels from my programming package. Why is it the consumer that is always on the losing end of all of these behind closed door decisions. And no you did not make this decision on our behalf!!!!

Has DirectTv even addressed the issue of our bills? We PAID for these channels and I either want them back or a smaller bill. Whatever *** is going on between these two giant, rich, companies is not my fault and I am sick and tired of these companies screwing consumers over.

i know that direct tv knew for months they were fighting with viacon, but we were warned only a week before they pulled the plug. it isnt right what they are doing and i know that im changing services ,and if they try to make me pay to get out of my contract with them i will inform them that they are the ones that broke my contract with them first.

I am extremely pissed off that direct tv cancelled all Viacom channels or have a 30% increase on your bill. Those were the channels with the best shows because out of the millions and millions of movies out there theses jerks want to show the same *** movie back to...

get this i called directtv today and i got a message saying it would be 1.50 to talk to automated service center and 5 dollars to talk to a rep! wtf! now we have to pay mooney to talk to a customer service rep to a service we already pay for?

Directv cut channels but bill is the same!!!

Directv should fight with Viacom or whomever behind closed doors the customer should not be bothered with such nonsense. Also is you take away 26 channels the reduce the amount we are paying that would be the RIGHT thing to do. Just interesting that all the other sat and cable providers still have the viacom channels. I called the customer service line but I am sure the rep is reading off a que card of what to respond if a customer calls with a viacom complaint, she could care less and no discount was offered. I feel the contract I agreed to was broken by Directv, if I decided to pay 50 less dollars each month how would that be?? They would disconnect me anyway this whole thing was very poorly ececuted by them and I want a customer favorable response.

Direct TV is lowering the bill for customers who call and complain. THEY'RE JUST NOT TELLING US...U HAVE TO CALL.

I know a few people who called and got anywhere from $10 to $20 off their bill for 2 mo. and free movie channels for a few months.

I cannot Stand Directv

I hate that I have directv. They dropped the channels I watch all the time!!!!!! I feel it is unfair as *** that we still have to pay the same amount, when we cannot see alot of the channels that we watch on a daily basis. I don't really know who to believe (Viacom or Directv) about why this happened and reallly could care less who's fault it is, but I blame directv because I have been a loyal customer for a few yrs now and I feel they should have done whatever possible to help their customers. I called the other day to drop my services and they told me it would be $200.00. I have had billing problems with them in the pass, yet I stayed loyal. F that now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We signed with Direct TV last summer for a certain number of Channels. Now, all of the sudden they "say" that Viacom is wanting to "charge" an extra fee for the 25 Channels DIRECT TV has now TAKEN AWAY!

As far as I'm concerned DIRECT TV has BROKEN "OUR" Contract. If they will not provide the Channels they agreed to, then they need to "lessen" the monthly charges OR LET PEOPLE OUT OF THE BOGUS CONTRACT! VERY DISSATISFIED with Direct TV's service. When you speak with a representive, most of the time you can't hardly understand them.

While you are trying to talk, they are talking over you. RUDE!!!

Directv in Washington, District Of Columbia - They bougered my bank acount.

we could not aford anymoore so we canceld our contract and they said they would send boxes for return. well got boxes and the return labels they said a driver will be there in a few days 2 pic up. then i waited for them 2 come about a month they sent me a bill for $300.00 my bill was paid in full when we canceld . they took it out of my acount then i get a letter from the bank i have $ 600 in overdrafs ilost it all its sad 2 pic on senior cit/fixed income.0

no sound for the cnn or weather channel.we already dont have HLN.what is wrong with you ppl? the reception sucks, goes out when ever there is a cloud in the sky..not impressed with direct tv..we need the weather channel.i will have to move to get away from direct tv and will tell everyone i know not to get direct tv bec. of service and the greed for more money..this is also a true hassel to get this posted.i have to write at least 100 words..this sucks too.you are going to loose more than you gain as far as i am concerned

Directv in Los Angeles, California - Customer Service rep. took an extra $100 from checking acctount!

I made arrangements to bring my account to current in two payments. I paid $100 on June 30, 12 over the phone via debt card. Arrangements were made to pay $88 on the July 5, 12. I called on the july 3 to pay $88 which should have been noted on my account that is was due. I gave my debit card number and $188. were taken not $88. So when the cust. serv. person called back the transaction I said "No, not $188 only $88 was my payment". She said it was too late that she had already taken that amount. After talking to a supervisor immediately after the transaction, she told me she was submitting to financial department for the refund it would take 7 to 10 days. Today is the 10th day and they tell me that its still and open request and no one has been assigned to the problem! I now have overdraft fees due to the money not back in my account which was not my fault!!!!!! Each time I ask to speak to someone else they all say there is no one else and no one to complain to either!!!!!!!!! Not a good way to cover their mistakes I say! Lori Jerome 626-484-4581

It seems like it only takes minutes for them to take your money out of your account, but weeks to return it when they draw out extra and too much!!! Not good customer service!!! Not good business either!!!!
