I tried to login to DirecTV.com with my ID & password that has worked in the past. The site presented "Hang on, we're signing you in . . ." . I then waited and waited. I clicked on 'reload' on my browser and was presented with "alert

You used your DIRECTV email and password to log in to myAT&T.

myAT&T isn't quite ready for that, so tell us what you want to do.

We'll take you to DIRECTV.com. You'll be automatically logged in.

or

myAT&T logo Manage my AT&T account

Log in with your AT&T Access ID and password.

(Not with what you just used.)"

I clicked on 'Manage my DIRECTV account' and was taken again to "Hang on, we're signing you in . . ." and again wait & wait & wait & wait. A continuous 'loop'. I finally called DirecTV's 800 line and got a lady who tried to 'talk' me through the login process. She said that she would help me login and asked for my ID & PASSWORD (which I reluctantly gave her) which she could not login and got the same result as me. I immediately asked her to give me a 'temporary' password by email so that I felt secure that she didn't have my password. I reset my password and tried to login again with the same result. She then asked again for my password and I refused to give it to her. I did mention that when AT&T purchased DirecTV, both of the website support didn't get together to make changes to allow for ONE website solution, thereby making this problem worse! So, until AT&T makes the changes to create a SINGLE website for its customers, this problem will continue. I know I am going to Fios (which has its own PROBLEMS) until the CONTRACT comes to its halfway point where my COST of the service DOUBLES and I will be forced to go back to my 'rabbit ears' FREE TV without the 'underwater basket weaving in Portguese' stations that I really enjoy. I hope this 'rant' will help someone look at DirecTV and its services.
