To date the promised $79 "bundle" costs my mother $160 a month and they want $440 to stop service. This company is a rip off and preys on senior citizens.

Worst experience ever! Helped my mom set up order with direct tv.

Supposed to be bundled service of tv internet and phone for $79. From the beginning order was messed up. Kept taking additional fees from her bank account that hadn't been discussed and then received separate bill for internet and phone at double fee originally agreed to. When I called them to find out what was going on said it wasn't bundled.

Wanted $440 to discontinue service or they could now bundle going forward for additional $45 a month. Thru my experience I was out on hold for up to 2 hrs at a time until I hung up, was disconnected 2 times, rerouted to ATT and rerouted to the Spanish speaking line. My mother is 81 yrs old .

This is pretty much a bait and switch scam. Do yourself a favor and DONT USE DIRECT TV!

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

Monetary Loss: $440.

Preferred solution: Discontinue service with no fee..

DIRECTV Cons: Worst consumer experience ever.
