i cancelled my directv and returned the equipment at ups on 01/10/2020 and i am still receiving monthly bills for directv .i have spoken with representatives of att who assured me the problem would be fixed but the problem still exists.i have tried to contact online but when i try to get to a cancel directv site,a bad error message is displayed.this has happened no les than 10 times.DO NOT GET DIRECTV

User's recommendation: DO NOT GET ATT OR DIRECTV.

Monetary Loss: $350.

Preferred solution: refund and stop billing.

DIRECTV Cons: Can not cancel their service.

This company is simply awful! They lie - they cheat- they do not provide the channels agreed to in the signed contract and send your account to a collection agency in order to ruin your credit rating! I tried for 2 months to get the channels on my contract - sent back all the equipment - wrote to them - tried to call them - tried to email - all to no avail - I cannot believe the Better Business Bureau or a consumer advocate council can’t stop this from happening!


I don't know where you are finding a cancel direct tv site. We cancelled DTV 3 weeks ago and found the only way to cancel was by phone. We were on the phone on hold for 3 hours.
