Back on Nov.29, 2017 I received a phone call from Direct T.V promotions dept. wanting me to sign up for a one year subscription for the premium channels such as Showtime, HBO and others for a low price of $15.99.
I asked him to repeat the offer which he did. So naturally I signed up, but when my Dec. bill came in I noticed that the bill indicated that it was one of twelve charges that will be billed to me for that same amount. I called right away and had that promotion cancelled for two reasons (1) it wasn't what was promised to me during the promotional phone call
(2) I leave Michigan for the winter around Dec.10 or so and do not return until mid April and I wasn't about to pay $15.99 for months that i'm not at home.
So if you really do monitor your phone calls for quality assurance you will also hear what was said during that conversation.
I am truly disappointed in this incident and others since I've been with Direct T.V. I will be looking at other options when my contract has expired!
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $16.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
