same old story, i fell for the lies the young lady told me after she knocked on my door, i didn't sign a contract as they claim the agreement to the contract is when you give them your pay information, which in my case was one dollar, stayed pending on bank account for a day or two then jumped up some. i explained to her i was a disabled vet with serious ptsd issues and legally blind, i'm in the class of the sighted blind, confusing but more of us than sightless, told her i didn't need to be converged on by crews *** me off, assured me direct tv would come next morning and att fiberoptics the next morning, almost before daylight both arrived at the same time, one working in the back and one working in the front, the direct tv dish was set on edge of my roof at eaves, pointing directly into a large tree that shades my bedroom window, he claimed no knowledge of the package he was installing, the young guy in back refused to listen to me when i told him since we had overhead lines with poles in alley he needed to follow the power lines, the old cable lines, and the phone lines down the middle of the two houses and come across the back of my house, to save about 5ft of cable he chose to drop his line from pole across my back yard at an angle, drooping almost low enough to touch it, hane it over an old purlin where i was attempting to build a wall across back porch, if you don't know the purlin is made of steel, then brought it through a wall beside a sliding glass door that we are slowly replacing , the wall, sheetrock, is rotting and crumbling, then up against a door frame, across the frame, down the other side, and put all the fiber optics boxes on the wall beside my dining room table, his excuse was in one instance, saving cable, the other reason was he needed the equipment as close as possible to the router/modem.

he also told me he didn't know what he was installing, but he knew for sure something was wrong because they did not have the thousand mgbt i purchased in the package. now this is a running problem since feb, each person i discuss it with convinces me its easier to change the bundle than to try and quit them, what i didn't snap to was that each time i let them try to change and get me to what i was promised, i changed the date that the 2 years promotion ended.

so now i have a *** internet service, slow and buffers on streaming, and no direct tv it only worked a week or so off and on, i even cut the tree almost completely down and still nothing. im not sure why some attorney doesn't put a class action suit against these *** and lump the city council of san antonio in with them, they have the power to allow them here or not.

For a sports fan, the best feature of a DVR was the ability to scroll through lots of games, stop when the score changes and then back up and catch all the scoring plays. But, the dark bar that clouds the bottom of the screen in your new graphics format makes this impossible. Time to switch TV services.

I started watching a recorded episode of one of my favorite shows night before last...with no problem...there were NO ADS...then I tried watching the rest of the same recorded show last night...I WAS HORRIFIED to find there were now ads attached. I was not able to FAST FORWARD through them like we have ALWAYS DONE if need be...They were not even entertaining...but rather annoying.

Now, I will have to rethink things through as far as who I pay for services. I did not sign up to have the luxury of FAST FORWARD taken away from me. We (The WORLD) pay Directv quite alot of money to be a good Cable provider, through the years (MANY), I have stuck with you even though your service has been dwindling downhill; ever since merging with ATT. Yet your prices continue to go up and up, and now you have found ways to make even more money; by forcing the public to watch what they #DO NOT WANT TO WATCH!

This is outrageous action on your part! You must have read the book by George Orwell...1984

Yesterday our Direct TV updated software. Now the format is totally useless. Print is to small; navigation is a nightmare; it is completely screwed up. Thinking I need to change companies.

I just got off the phone with DTV customer support trying to find a step-by-step guide to navigate this new system. There is none!

The people who approved this system, which drastically changes everything, without providing a guide on how to use it, should be fired. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out DTV didn’t bother to beta test it either.
