Direct TV engages in horrible, DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING which is one of the reasons I left Direct TV two years ago. In an attempt to lure me back, they sent me a "We Miss You" offer of 145 channels at $19.99 per month with ALL EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION INCLUDED.
But when you try to take advantage of this offer, they insist on charging a monthly equipment feel that's almost three times the cost of the $19.99 monthly service fee. This morning I WASTED over 40 minutes speaking to FIVE DIFFERENT PEOPLE who all PROMISED to honor the mailing . . .
and in each instance, THEY TRIED TO SIGN ME UP FOR SERVICE WITH ADDITIONAL MONTHLY EQUIPMENT CHARGES. THIS COMPANY TOTALLY SUCKS!
