Directv - Did not explain 2 year 'contract'
I am caregiver to a 90 year old hard hearing woman.She was a time-warner customer for years,She was told she could 'hear' her music stations clearer with Direct TV.
She had me call and switch her service six mos. ago, what a nightmare!!
The tech came and installed 1 box in her living room, not explaining she needed another for her kitchen, and since the tv was older he had to rig it so she didn't know how to use the romote.
She had me call to disconnect since it was not doing her any good, she still could not hear it.When I tried they rudely told me it would cost her 360.00! this was not explained either at her initial hook-up, nor did she sign a contract! What a poor business!!TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED!!
