I canceled Direct TV due to their incompetence, bait and switch practices and really bad customer service.They came out to my house 4 times when I asked for upgrading to HD.

Each time they had the order completely wrong and wanted to charge me. They sent me a last bill and I had a credit of $54.00. I also verified this verbally two weeks later when waiting for my refund. They only sent me $35 with no explanation.

When I called to find out why, nobody could give me a straight answer. I will send back the check and dispute it.

Do not ever sign up for their service.If you do, you will be sorry.

You didn't say but I do hope your 2 yr.contract with them was up when you cancelled their service.

If not, watch you bank or credit card for additional charges from DTV.As far as them not sending you the correct amount of money this is nothing new they never do, they will say you have unpaid movies or they will find something to come up with.
