I am a DirectTV customer and I was promised the choice package for 24.99 after applying all the rebates for which I have a mail confirmation from DirecTV. I was not asked to apply for any rebate or call anyone after getting connected.

I didn't notice the amount debited to my account for 4 months which was my mistake because I trusted them.

To my surprise I saw that they have been debiting 59.49 since 4 months. When I called customer service they said that since my account is past 90 days I cannot apply for any rebate now and they will continue to charge the same for 2 years.

cancel the account and they can't charge you but be prepared to fight file an online complaint with BBB telling them your case and give dates and facts. Hope thi helps
