I needed to cancel my service with Direct Tv because I would be out of town for about 4 months.I have been a customer for over 7 years.
I am out of contract but in April my receiver went out. A service rep came out and replaced it at a cost of 80.00 dollars. I was told by Direct TV that because of this I was automatically placed back in contract. WOW!!
Automatically. They charged me a 280.00 termination fee. Then I was told by a service rep that this would be overturned and that I only owed for the remainder of the month. Then I receive a bill with the 280.00 dollars on it.
When I called back I was told that this is the correct bill and that is what I am responsible for. If you are looking for satellite TV look elsewhere.
I will never do business with them again.Jason Breazeale
