Direct TV lies and fails to disclose account information.DO NOT select the proctection plan.
It has a 30 day waiting period and must stay in effect for 12 months , which they do no disclose. When one of our receiver boxes died, we called to have it replaced. The less than helpful support staff INSISTED we pay shipping. Shipping is covered under the protection plan yet this had to be paid by credit card.
Please note I have been a customer for over 5 years. Can you say MONEY GRUBBING SCAM ARTISTS. Hope the $19 dollars was worth it.
I will change providers as soon as contract is up and will be very vocal about my experience.Keep providing poor customer service and you just might lose more business.
