Directv - Direct tv misinformed me about my account
I asked the Asian agent about my programing service he gave me incorrect advise that terminated my service since 2002. I was told to ship the equiptment back yesterday 6/8/2011 today another agent told me that the information I received was indeed incorrect but inorder to reconnect I must start over as a new account with a 2 year contract I feel that this is extremely unfair.I hope that somebody with the company would respond to address this unfortunate situation and live up to the company ethics of fair and just service.It is long overdue for consumers to be treated honestly and fairly by larger companies instead of them ripping the general public off. I would appreciate a response from Direct TV to step up to the plate and live up to their responsibilities to the consumer.My account number that I have had since 2002 is24289925.Thank you
