I cancelled service with Direct TV June 06, 2012 after being a valued customer of theirs for 5 years. After canceling my service, I returned the dvr equipment through ups.

2 months later I received a call from Direct TV stating that I had an outstanding balance on my account from $94.94 for pay paper view channels that they said I ordered from the year of 2009 and 2010. These dvr's are updated on a regular basis. So, why am I now getting charged 2 and 3 years later?

There wasn't any changes in the dvr at anytime from Direct TV. Company cannot explain these charges, and refuses to remove them.

Why does DirectTV do any of the dirty things they do to customers? Because they can get away with is just your word against theirs regarding the movie charges on your DVR.


You Bet! but they do it all the time and they know if you don't pay it will go on your credit report.
