Here is the last conversation I had with Direct Tv. Over 10 years with them. Never asked for any equipment upgrades or help for that matter. Wont be a customer for much longer.
They would upgrade me to the Genie and 2 wired receivers for $300. I requested wireless like new customers get. I didn't even ask for the free and reduced programming.
The new now price if I want to go wireless is $598 due to wireless setup installation they said. REALLY. I'm and Engineer and it's a 10 minute job to setup a network. Do they think were ***.
It's a shame. The Direct Tv President and/or CEO needs to change his customer retention policies. So many new customers get the new stuff and then cancel after 3-12 months. Unlike us 10yr customers.customers.
