I signed up for direct tv last month and was told that i could get the triple package of tv, phone, and internet and at a great price of $69.97 per month. they hooked up the tv but the next day i was told that i could not get the phone or the internet, but i was told that i could.

i spent 45 minutes on hold trying to speak to a supervisor but never could get a supervisor to pick up. end result, i do not get what i was promised in writing and over the phone and i never want to have to call them because they do play games with putting people on hold.

Had directTv for 8 years. When they first talked about going to mpeg4 video I called.

Was told there would be a $100 fee for upgrade. Wasn't happy but agreed, the 1st appointment to install came and was told they didn't have the dish. 2nd appointment came got a call was told it MIGHT rain, now it wasn't raining at that time, but was told he wasn't coming. 3rd appointment no one called and no one showed up to upgrade service.

That was the last straw, unhooked their equipment took down their dish and cancelled their service.

The best part was the lady on the phone had no idea why I was cancelling my service. I firmly believe that if you gave DirectTv 2 weeks notice and let them use both hands, they could not find their @ss.
