I have made 4 calls, send several e-mails to disconnect Direct TV. Average wait time on phone is 20 minutes!

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I still can't get them to stop service. With the exception of ATT U-verse, which certainly came close, I can only imagine what others have gone through. I am trying to help and elderly person who has suffered a stroke and seizure and can no longer watch TV.

They have increased his bill from $27 per month to $57.01/month with no increase in service. What does one do to stop this rip-off from cable companies?

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $200.

OMG you have to wait on hold to cancel service oh the horror how can these people stay in business, wait if you don't cancel service your still paying or on your way to collections and a 500 credit score just wait it out and cancel or don't the choice is yours
