It is a ripoff. I have three things I wanted to put under the plan.
The person I signed up with told me that if my computers broke, they would send someone to my house to fix them. Then I talked to a supervisor and manager who told me I would have to mail my laptop off (back it up and wipe the hard drive if I didn't want personal information on it) and maybe have to mail my desk top depending on if there was anyone in my area to work on it. I asked if they could check to see if there was someone in my area and they said no. Also, any tvs 40" and under would have to be mailed as well.
And, for each of those situations, you have to pay $50 per break down to get it fixed. How convenient! Not what the person I talked to said at all.
I will be cancelling - mostly on principal. None of what I learned over the phone is in the documentation they send you.
