We recently disconnected our Direct TV for overbilling.Per there instructions we sent the equipment back using their boxes and their shipping labels.
They sent me a bill for not returning their equipment. After waiting on the phone for over an hour I finally got a hold of one of their representatives. She said they haven’t got the equipment and that they have people calling from December. Found out that I am not the only person they have done this too.
This is a scam. I guess they get pissed when you disconnect their poor service. If you know anyone that is disconnecting from their service make sure you cover your butt.
