Directv - Direct TV service - new customers is a nightmare
DO NOT FALL for the "directv is great" speal at the local costco's, fry's, sales pitch
I would rather go back to XFINITY/Comcast - I have been a customer for less than 6 months and the service has sucked to say is pleasantly. I have them out for service calls 5 times, and the latency when changing channels, issues with DVR recorded programs, TV reception because of bad connections is frustrating, when it seems to be a charge for a new unit/box if the current ones originally did not work when first installed
if you have a 4K TV, it is even worse the 4K channels carry an extra fee to watch except 2 and they are not something you would want to watch anyways.
I am frustrated to the point that I am considering going back to Costco and telling them this is the worst promotion they have ran. Even though directv is part of AT&T now.. there charges, return policies, upgrade policies are antiquated which makes every thing a fee/charge.
drhgarcia wrote the review because of return, exchange or cancellation policy at Directv. Reviewer claimed that he or she lost $500 and wants Directv to issue a full refund.
The most disappointing in user's experience was not getting issues resolved. The author asks this business to immediately contact him/ her to briefly discuss his/ her negative experience with the company.
