I had equipment failure and was told a 4 week wait was required for replacement. No service for 4 weeks. Now Hurricane Ike comes in and they have canceled my service call and delivery so they can help another customer hurt by the Hurricane.
OK, so I don't have Directv and I just survived the hurricane also. Exactly why am I being bumped for the other folks - I don't have service and they don't have service.
I asked to speak with someone in charge and was told that due to the hurricane and the number of calls they were getting they shutdown the local phone.
Oh, and bye the way sir we will not compensate you for taking off work so we could be there between 8 and 12 and we cannot guarantee you that we will even show up on October 11th.
Oh and sir you are still under contract until next year - I might be under contract but I'm not *** - that will be a unfulfilled contract.
