I thought I would try Direct TV, bad mistake! Reception went out when there was a small rain cloud in the area, with dish it had to be a serious storm for any interference.
I had a receiver go out 3 months into the contract, had no idea that would extend my CONTRACT. Each month I had to call them on the strange fees that appeared on my bill.
Finally had enough and canceled, paid the disconnect fee, after arguing about the extended contract and the damage to my ceiling when installing Sat Dish I am now VERY HAPPY to be done with them and glad to pay the fee just to get them out of my life! Do yourself a favor, avoid Direct TV
