DirectTV has failed to provide us with reliable service from September 2009 to present, January 2010. They won't send a repairman out or send new equipment to replace faulty equipment. Because we signed a contract, they won't let us cancel our "non-service" without paying a penalty!

This is a serious rip-off! What has happened to consumer rights? Why doesn't the Idaho utility commission regulate and penalize DirectTV for failure to provide good service? If an entity won't police themselves and be honest and fair to consumers, what recourse does the consumer have? It is another example of the "little guy" getting screwed!
