Ive had directtv for many years and when it is working it is a great provider. I dread anytime some thing goes wrong with the receiver. After going thru many computerized menus I finally get the tech department. After spending 45 minutes with someone who is reading a script, my receiver is still inop. Every time they setup an a service call it usually 3 days later. During this time I am without a tv.

This time both of my receivers in my "whole house" system went out while I was out of town. This caused my wife the pain of talking to a script reading tech support person for 45 minutes. This happened Wednesday morning and the earliest they can get out out to my house is Friday.

Directtv's tech support is the worst at providing prompt service.
