I cancelled DIRECTV in March'11. I was living in assisted home facility for 2 months.

I returned to my home in June. There was no dish and no cable at my address. DIRECTV is billing me for their service. They are telling me a family member signed me up in May for 2 years.

Yet the dish and cable were not reinstalled. I don't want the service. The box that belongs to them has no cord. I cannot access the service.

They continue to bill me and I am now delinquent.

I have had 3 conversations with them and they will do nothing to cancel my account. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THEM AND GET RECEIPTS FOR EVERYTHING.

Sounds as though they did not cancel their service in March. Send them an email you may get more done this way.
